Jun 1, 2016 | Celebrate, Graduation |
Before we know it the year seems to fly by and we have those wonderful events like graduation to celebrate. My card today is for a great nephew who is graduating from high school.

His school colors are dark blue & kelly green so I chose some of our new In Colors - Dapper Denim & Emerald Envy. The polka dot pattern paper can be found in the Playful Palette DSP Stack.

The Dapper Denim Cardstock is embossed with the Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It provides some texture but still is masculine. Although the picture makes it look like I used Whisper White, it is actually Very Vanilla Cardstock.

The sentiment & the tassel are from Celebrate Today. I fussy cut the tassel & added a Rhinestone for an added bit of pizazz.
It's time for me to head to bed as it is midnight & way past my bedtime. And, you know that I will be up early so I can place an order from the new catalog!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

My card today is a bit different than my normal card. I rarely create collages but it just felt like what I wanted to do today.

A dsp from Playful Palette creates a border around my image piece which is stamped on Crumb Cake Cardstock. Dapper Denim Cardstock does the same for the dsp layer. Al three are layered on a Whisper White card base.

The large bouquet image is stamped in both White Craft Ink & Dapper Denim Ink. Then a variety of stamps from Awesomely Artistic are inked in either Emerald Envy or Dapper Denim & stamped off once or twice before stamping the image on the main piece.

The Frame is stamped in Emerald Envy & cut out with the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelit. The sentiment is stamped with Dapper Denim Ink. A length of Linen Thread adds some dimension to the frame which is also popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. A smattering of Pearls adds the final touch.
The countdown is on for the 2016 -2017 Annual Catalog to go live! Do you have your wish list ready? I am still finalizing mine. So many exciting choices that I keep changing my mind about what to buy first.
I very much appreciate your business. If you would like to shop, my Online Store can be accessed by clicking Online Store. If you have any questions about ordering, please shoot me an email and I will respond quickly. Thank you for your support!

May 29, 2016 | Retirement, Sneak Peek |
My post today is in honor of my sister Margie who is retiring after 38 dedicated years in Education as a teacher, an Administrator, and finally as a Librarian. She has touched the lives of many children, faculty, staff and other professionals. This quote from a young student says it all "Miss Margie who is going to smile at us when we come into the library and who is going to help us select our books." This one is for you Miss Margie!

My card uses the returning stamp set Wild About Flowers & the new Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper. This paper is vibrant and just perfect for a gal who loves pink like Margie! The stamp set has the perfect sentiments for a retirement card.

I used many patterns of DSP from the Pop of Pink DSP Pack. The combo of pink, black & white is a dynamite combo. It fits the bill nicely for my card for Margie. The sentiment on the inside of the card says "Congratulations on your Retirement, you've earned it!"

The flower is grounded by a strip from Work of Art stamped in Old Olive Ink.
Are you as busy making your wish list for the new catalog as I am? Oh my gosh, I have made so many lists that I need to code them so I know what to order first! What items are at the top of your list?
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
