These happy gals were colored with the Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities, the Old Olive Blendabilities & the Daffodil delight Blendabilities. The Skin Tone Assortment was used for their skin and the hair of the girl on the right. Even they know that it is time to clebrate the release of the new Blendabilities!
The Blackberry Bliss cardstock mat adds some drama along with the bow tied with the 3/8" Blackberry Bliss Stitched Satin Ribbon. The Rhinestones were also colored with the Blendabilities for some bling!
A few hints about the blendabilities.
- Because these are alcohol markers, we must use a water based ink (Memento Tuxedo Black Ink) so the markers won't run. Good news, you don't have to sit and wait for it to dry like you do with Staz On.
- And, Memento Ink can be cleaned with Stampin' Mist & the Stampin' Scrub.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Be sure to stop back on Tuesday, July 1st to order your blendabilities!

I saw the sketch for the Paper Players 201 this week and decided to play along. It didn't look like anyone had used Timeless Talk so I decided to go for it!

Deciding on a color palette is easy witht he help of the Color Coach. After selecting the dsp from the
Moonlight dsp Stack, I checked the Color Coach for possibilities with Sahara Sand. One of the suggestions was Early Espresso, Pear Pizazz, & Sahara Sand. I went with it because I knew that I wanted a darker color for the tricycle and a lighter color for the swirl.
After laying the pieces out, I felt that my dsp needed an edging. Nothing dramatic, so I selected Sahara Sand & the Finishing Touches Edgelit. Just enough color to provide definition without overwhelming the dsp.

First I stamped the swirl from Everything Eleanor on Pear Pizazz cardstock with Pear Pizazz Ink. Next, I stamped the tricycle from Timeless Talk on top of the swirl using Early Espresso Ink. This was cut out with the Deco Labels Framelits.
The sketch called for a few banners which I cut and embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder & the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. I intended to use Candy Dots on the wheels for embellishment, but the more I looked at my card, I felt Pearls would be a better fit. What do you think?
Would you like to see the sketch that I worked from?

Because my cardbase is Early Espresso, I lined the card with Whisper White and stamped the swirl from Everything Eleanor in Pear Pizza & then stamped the sentiment from Remembering Your Birthday in Early Espresso. This ties the front of the card with the inside of my card.

I want you to be able to avoid a frustration before it happens. Stampin' Up! created some totally awesome stamp sets and some really fine punches. However, trying to punch a stamped flower has put me over the edge a time or two – you know what I am talking about! So, let me share a technique to make the process not only painless but downright pleasurable!
Let's fix the Beautiful Bunch stamp set & the Fun Flower Punch so that you think you are in Stamping Paradise! Then I will share a card using it.

Go get your "stuff" and let's get to work! I know you want to feel stampin' paradise! I stamped some flower images from the stamp set and put a black dot where we need to line the image up with the punch. In the picture below, you will see a black dot on the stamp and a black dot in the same position on the stamped image. Look reallly close now and you will notice that each petal that has a black dot is a petal that has a "nip" taken out of the top of it. Can you see it?
Mark the same location on the sticker side of each flower stamp with a marker. Okay, wipe the sweat from your brow because you are almost finished.
Now let's mark your punch. Take a look at mine to see where to mark it.

Do you see the black dot on the right side of the punch? Do you recognize the petal with a "nip" taken out of it. Find the same petal on your punch and mark it.
The hard work is over so you can breathe again! In order to punch out the flower, we are just going to line up the places with the nip taken out. See the picture below.

I am sliding the punch over the flower in order to line it up.

After they were lined up, I simply punched the flower.

TIPS:
- Looking at your stamp, orient it so the dot is on the right side of your image & you have 2 petals near the bottom of the paper.
- Stamp your image near the bottom of your paper. This will make lining it up easier.
- Match up the "imaginary" dot on your stamped image with the dot on your punch.
- Punch!
Congratulations! You have a perfect flower. And, it will work every time.
I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at [email protected]
Now for the cards! We made these at my gathering using Summer Silhouettes, Beautiful Bunch, Fun Flower Punch, Fabulous Four & A Dozen Thoughts,
