My Grandson turns 5 later in August. He loves anything to do with a truck so of course, I wanted to make a card with trucks. My simple trucks are created with a variety of punches.

The clouds were cut with a framelit from the Word Bubbles Set. After cutting them, I sponged them with Pool Party Ink. The trucks are created with Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Baisc Gray, Real Red, and Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The same cardstock was used with a retired Alphabet Die to cut the letters of his name.

The wheels are also made with a retired punch. The tires were just too black without the wheels. A Black Stampin' Write Marker was used to freehand the road and the door handles on the truck.

The inside of the card is decorated with a few gears punched from Basic Gray Cardstock and a "5" cut with a retired BIGZ Die. The sentiment is from the Big News stamp set. Each letter is colored with a Stampin' Write Marker.
I am excited for Cole to receive his card and to see his reaction. Hope he likes it!

Did you miss me yesterday? I missed you! I am struggling with seasonal allergies & for some reason, one eye is really taking the brunt of the reaction. Unfortunately the sight in that eye was severly affected last night which made writing a blog post questionable. Dang, I should have written one! Then we both could have had a good laugh reading it.
But, I am back today so let me get on with my post. I created another Circle Card but this time I made the card longer so that I could include a money pocket.

The All Abloom Designer Series Mini Paper Stack & the 2013 – 2015 In Color paper Stack work together to create a bright and cheerful backdrop for my card. An image from the Flower Shop Stamp set is inked with Strawberry Slush Ink & stamped on Whisper White cardstock. The Pansy Punch means no ussy cutting for this bloom!

The sentiment from the Wetlands stamp set is inked with Mossy Meadow & stamped on Whisper White cardstock. The new 2" Circle Punch makes this the perfect layer for the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle layer. It was punched from paper from the All Abloom stack.
Because this card is being mailed, I wanted it to be fairly simple.

Jul 29, 2014 | Circle Card, Thank You |
I am All A Bloom about this Circle Card created with the Circle Card Framelit and the All Abloom dsp stack. The arrows and the thx are both framelits included in the Circle Framelit Collection.

The Flower Shop combined with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle combine to create the decoration on the free moving circle. The front side is a Daffodil Delight Scallop Circle with a Strawberry Slush flower from the Flower Shop stamp set. The Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack provides the perfect accent for the center of the flower. A bright Candy Dot adds color to the flower.
The flip side of the circle is done in a similar way. The 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch is used with Strawberry Slush Cardstock. An image from the Fun Flower is stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink and punched out with the Pansy Punch. The flower is finished with an Itty Bitty Punch Flower from Strawberry Slush cardstock. A Daffodil Delight Candy Dot finishes the flower.
This is a bright and cheerful card and I am really anxious to get it in the mail for a very thoughtful friens who gave me something special at Convention.
