My Grandson turns 5 later in August. He loves anything to do with a truck so of course, I wanted to make a card with trucks. My simple trucks are created with a variety of punches.
The clouds were cut with a framelit from the Word Bubbles Set. After cutting them, I sponged them with Pool Party Ink. The trucks are created with Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Baisc Gray, Real Red, and Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The same cardstock was used with a retired Alphabet Die to cut the letters of his name.
The wheels are also made with a retired punch. The tires were just too black without the wheels. A Black Stampin' Write Marker was used to freehand the road and the door handles on the truck.
The inside of the card is decorated with a few gears punched from Basic Gray Cardstock and a "5" cut with a retired BIGZ Die. The sentiment is from the Big News stamp set. Each letter is colored with a Stampin' Write Marker.
I am excited for Cole to receive his card and to see his reaction. Hope he likes it!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
Ginger, I think your a card making genius! Anyone would like this card but a five year old boy will be over the top with awe that Grandma could make something like this just for him. It looks like a long trailer transporting these vehicles to Cole. I like the variety of colors you used. Nice job.
Cole will love this card and you will be his favorite person!! Love the colors and the design!!
Love this card, especially the colors and the trucks. Will have to case this one:)
Very cute! I love the gears on the tires and inside. I do not remember this punch at all. Very bright and fun for a 5 year old for sure! Bumper to bumper traffic is a good thing here! Love how you made those clouds! Great job!
