Did you miss me yesterday? I missed you! I am struggling with seasonal allergies & for some reason, one eye is really taking the brunt of the reaction. Unfortunately the sight in that eye was severly affected last night which made writing a blog post questionable. Dang, I should have written one! Then we both could have had a good laugh reading it.
But, I am back today so let me get on with my post. I created another Circle Card but this time I made the card longer so that I could include a money pocket.
The All Abloom Designer Series Mini Paper Stack & the 2013 – 2015 In Color paper Stack work together to create a bright and cheerful backdrop for my card. An image from the Flower Shop Stamp set is inked with Strawberry Slush Ink & stamped on Whisper White cardstock. The Pansy Punch means no ussy cutting for this bloom!
The sentiment from the Wetlands stamp set is inked with Mossy Meadow & stamped on Whisper White cardstock. The new 2" Circle Punch makes this the perfect layer for the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle layer. It was punched from paper from the All Abloom stack.
Because this card is being mailed, I wanted it to be fairly simple.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
I did miss your blog yesterday!! I checked periodically throughout the day!! I love this card! Of course, being a pink gal this card was just right for me. I also spotted the gift-card pocket. Quite a lovely card you did! Hope you are feeling better and have a great class tonight.
WOW! I like your boldness in mixing things that in the past were frowned upon. I could never have guessed about the mixture of design on this card let alone know it was outstanding. I saw the pocket also, very neat idea. Would love to have the measurements.
Sorry about your eye, hope it gets better soon, but it sure didn’t hinder your creativeness. I love this card because it is so different and adorable.
Love everything about this card, bright, cheerful, & great idea for the pocket! I really like swing cards as I call them, better learn how to do them. Awesome card!
Aha Miss Ginger. That explains the blog title Ginger Sap…
Hope the allergies improve and the eye heals fast. The card turned out beautifully. Thanks for sharing the inspiration.
