A Ginger Snap! Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge 239!

Such a fun combo of colors this week – check them out!

PPA239 color challenge

Time to Celebrate is an adorable Hostess Stamp Set that can be found on page 51 of the Occasssions Catalog.  It is one that I have been very anxious to ink up and this challenge provided just the right opportunity!

After photographing my card and sending it off to the blog master, I decided to use a sponge dauber to ink the edges of my card, including the flip flop circle, with Soft Suede Ink in order to add some dimension. Flip card front

This picture is a bit dark but hopefully you can see the difference.  Which do you prefer?

The cute & charming worm is stamped with Soft Suede Ink.  A touch of color was added with the Crumb Cake Blendabilities.  Because it is so close to Valentine's Day, I chose to use a Heart punched with the Owl Builder Punch rather than the flower.  Rhinestone Jewels give a bit of sparkle to the eyes.

The left panel is decorated with a red dot pattern from the Brights DSP Stack.  That panel is adorned with cutouts from the Circle Card Thinlit used with Whisper White Cardstock.  They are pointing the way to the cheerful sentiment on the back of the circle.  The panel on the right is sporting some Soft Suede dap from the Park Lane DSP pack.

Flip flop back

The sentiment is from the stamp set of the same name - Snuggles & Smooches.  It is a limited edition Photopolymer stamp set that will only be available for a short time.  If you want this stamp set, be sure to order it before it disappears!

I stamped it on a circle of Whisper White c.s. using Real Red Ink.  My circle is then mounted on a Soft Suede Scalloped Circle. The spine of my "flip flop card is decorated with Hearts punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

Gosh, You're Adorable was just to perfect to pass up! Stamped with Real Red Ink on Whisper White c.s.,  it does it's job to point out how adorable that little worm is sitting up there on the flip flop circle!

A Ginger Snap! Love is Kindness!

The tulips from the stamp set Love Is Kindness are so real looking that I wanted to use the stamp one more time for a thank you card.

Thank You rt

I stamped the tulips on the back of a piece of Vellum Cardstock with Staz On Black Ink.  Using a Styllus, I rubbed the tulips on the backside to color them white,  Then I flipped the Vellum over to the front and used my Wild Wasabi Blendabilities to color the leaves.  Remember that Blendabilities & Staz On Ink are not compatible.  That is why I flipped it to the front to color.

Thank You slight left

I stamped the image a second time on Typeset Paper and fussy cut the paper around the flowers.  The Oval Framelits were used to cut the flowers and the Blushing Bride Frame.  A piece of Blushing Bride Baker's Twine is added to the "newspaper " wrap.

Thank You left

My card base is embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder after it was stamped with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp.  Thank You from Painted Petals is stamped with Memento Black Ink on Blushing Bride c.s. which is then banner cut.

A few butterflies are punched from Pear Pizazz c.s. using the Bitty Butterfly punch.  All 3 butterflies are embossed with the Delicate Dots Embossing Folder for added texture.  A few Pearls add a touch of bling.

A Ginger Snap! Happy Birthday Swap Time!

This is my card for the PALS Swap at Leadership 2015 in Orlando Florida.  The theme is a birthday card of any type.  So, I wanted a generic card that could be used for almost anyone.

 Leadership swap slight left

Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper provides the punch of color that I wanted for this card.  The Crushed Curry strip is stamped with the sprinkles image from the stamp set Balloon Bash with Versa Mark  Ink.

Leadership Swap rt

The balloons from the same stamp set are stamped with Tangelo twist, Bermuda Bay, & Crushed Curry Ink matching the colors that are in the paper.  I fussy cut the balloons and added a piece of Linen Thread to each balloon.  The balloons are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The strings are brought together and secured with a Gold Basic Metal Button.  Another length of Linen Thread is tied in a bow which is attached to the button with a  Glue Dot.

HB which stands for Happy Birthday, is stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and fussy cut.  It is also popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Lots of fussy cutting for 26 swap cards!
