Today I am featuring a freebie that you can select from Sale-a-Bration with a $50 order before tax & shipping.

Using the striped pattern from the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper, Gold Metallic Encore Ink & a Sponge Dauber, I inked the paper. Using the Emboss/Resist Technique, I used a paper towel to wipe the ink off all but the stripes on the paper.

The best part is that I did not have to do any embossing. Stampin' Up! took care of it for me. the paper is all ready for this technique. The 5/8" Gold Satin Ribbon continues the "gold" theme. And, it is the perfect perch for my butterfly cut from Gold Foil Paper with the Butterfly Thinlits Die.

A string of Pearl Basic Jewels completes my card. The inside is waiting for whatever sentiment I choose or more likely whatever sentiment I need at that moment!

The Big On You Stamp Set takes up a lot of real estate on a card. Using an image from that stamp set means that you won't need much else.

I felt that this stamp set was tailor made for the new Chalk Box Ink Pads & Chalkboard Paper. I inked my image with the Yellow Citrus pad & stamped it on a piece of Chalkboard paper. If you use this paper, please pay attention to which side has a smooth grain because that side works best with the Chalk ink.

In order to make my sentiment stand out, I chose to mat it with a thin mat of Whisper White c.s. followed by a wider mat of Crushed Curry c.s.. The sentiment layer is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Because the rest of the card is big, I wanted a vibrant pattern dsp for my background. Back to Black had just what I wanted. A small tab on the upper left of my card is accented with a Crushed Curry Button from the Regals Collection. It is tied with a piece of White Baker's Twine.

In my opinion, one of the cutest stamp sets in the new Sale-a-Brations Catalog is the Big Day Stamp Set. It sure makes creating a birthday card easy!

This card is definitely bright – not one to be ignored. The background paper is from the Birthday Bash Specialty DSP. I chose this pattern because I wanted something to match the colors of my sentiment.

I stacked several of the images from the Big Day set to create my sentiment. Remember that you can get this set free with any $50 purchase not including shipping & tax. Stampin' Write Markers in colors to match my paper were used to color each letter. In addition, I chose to highlight some words with a solid color. This sentiment piece is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals after being matted with some Night of Navy c.s.

The intensity of the paper & the sentiment are toned down with mats of Night of Navy & Whisper White. A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels add a touch of bling to my card.
Remember, if you have any questions about my card, I am only an email away.
