This card is heeded to a friend who recently lost his much beloved dog. If you have ever lost a pet, then you know just how much it hurts. Although there is not much that I can do, I did want him to know that I care.
The stamp set Hot Diggity Dog was perfect for this card. The variety of sentiments makes it easy to find the perfect words. And, aren't those dogs the cutest!
- My Whisper White card base is 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2" .
- A layer of Early Espresso Cardstock that has been embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder is attached to the card base.
- The upper left corner of both my card and the embossed card stock layer have been rounded with the Project Life Corner Rounder.
- The plaid dsp from the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack provided the warmth that I want my card to convey. Notice that the upper left corner of this piece has also bee corner rounded with the Project Life Corner Rounder.
- The adorable pooch is stamped in Early Espresson Ink. His sweater is colored with Island Indigo & Cajun Craze Stampin' Write Markers. A 1-3/4" Circle Punch nips him from nose to tail! The edges are inked with Cajun Craze Ink.
- The sentiment from Hot Diggity Dog is stamped with Cajun Craze Ink, banner cut & slipped under the circle with the dog.
Because the card is for a man, I did not add any embellishments. Hopefully this will help my friend to mend.

This card is for a dear friend whose birthday is today. Happy Birthday Evelyn! Because she loves to garden & has a beautiful yard, I thought this Stippled Blossom card fit her to a tee.
I created my own background paper by stamping the two step stamp in stamped off Crisp Cantaloupe Ink. On the front panel, the full flower background is stamped in stamped off Crisp Cantaloupe while the shaded top is stamped in Calypso Coral Ink. The leaves are done with a combo of Pear Pizazz & Wild Wasabi Ink.
A strip of Wild Wasabi 1/2" Seam Binding provides grounding for my card. It is highlighted with a thin strip of Calypso Coral card stock. In addition, a trio of pearls draws the eye down.
The colors are more vibrant than they appear but in order to keep the ribbon from overtaking my card, I had to do some editing. The center of the flowers are highlighted with a bevy of small pearls. My sentiment from Sassy salutations is on the inside of my card.

It's springtime which means it's graduation time. This is the first of the cards that I will be sharing to celebrate the occasion.
Although it may be difficult to see, I used the Lucky Stars Textured Embossing Folder on the Basic Black card stock. On the lower portion of the black, I colored some of the stars from the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers and placed them on random embossed stars.
I also placed one of the stars on the sentiment. The color red shows up much better on the Very Vanilla card stock.
The stamp set Blue Ribbon is the soon to be retired. Using the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, I punched out the top part of the ribbon which is stamped in Real Red. The congrats Grad sentiment is stamped with Memento Black Ink. And, the ribbon tails are from the same stamp set are inked in Real Red Classic Ink.
The Spiral Border Punch was used on Real Red card stock to provide edging between the Typset paper & the Basic Black Cardstock. For added dimension, a red and a blck banner were cut with the Itty Bitty Banners Framelits and placed beneath the tails of the blue (red in my case) ribbon.
