Jan 22, 2016 | Friend, Generic, Hello, Kids, Love |

I have been playing with the stamp set Apple of My Eye and I am thoroughly enjoying creating some clean & simple cards with this stamp set. I made a trio of cards that I will be sharing with you over the next few days. If you like easy, then this set is for you!

Ginger's Tips:
- My card base is a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Cucumber Crush card stock – scored at 4-1/4".
- A Basic Black matis cut at 4" x 5-1/4". A Whisper White mat is cut at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".
- The leaf from the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set is inked with Ink and stamped three times prior to reining the stamp.
- The sentiment from the same stamp set is inked with Real Red Ink & stamped on a scrap of Whisper White card stock. The apple is then fussy cut.
- Stamp the apple stem from the stamp set with Crumb Cake Ink that has been stamped off.
- Ink the leaf again with Gumball Green Ink & stamp alongside the stem.
- Using Stampin' Dimensionals, pop up the Apple Sentiment created above.
- Tie a double bow with Linen Thread & attach to the stem of the apple with a Glue Dot.
- Add a Real Red Candy Dot

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Be sure to check back tomorrow to see another simple card made with this stamp set.
Hugs,
Ginger

Jan 21, 2016 | Pals Paper Arts, PPA card |
Our very own Pal Maggie Mata created the sketch for this week. So many possibilities!

And here is the sketch. How about creating a card and joining us at PPA 284

Ginger's Tips:
- Start with a standard 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Lost Lagoon card stock & score it at 5-1/2".
- Emboss the front of the card base with the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
- Using the Sunburst Thinlits Die, cut a piece of Delightful Dijon patterned dsp from the Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack. Stamp the face found in the Ray of Sunshine Stamp Set with Versamark Ink. Sprinkle with Black Embossing Powder & heat set with the Heat Tool.

- Layer a Lost Lagoon piece of dsp found in the Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack on a piece of Basic Black card stock leaving a 1-8" border. Trime the piece to the sketch shape. and adhere.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Ray of Sunshine Stamp Set with Versamark Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. Sprinkle with Black Stampin' Emboss Powder & heat set with the Heat Tool.
- Do you recognize the Sunburst Shape used to cut out my sentiment? It can be found in the Baker's Box Thinlits. The sentiment is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! As always, your comments are very much appreciated. I read each and every one of them!
Hugs,
Ginger
