Apr 21, 2016 | Anniversary, Birthday, Celebrate, Congratulations, Hello, Sneak Peek |
The Scenic Sayings Stamp Set contains some big, bold sentiments and today I am sharing another sentiment from the set.

Oh Happy Day! There are so many occasions that this would be appropriate for that having cards like this on hand could be a lifesaver. I know that I like to be able to grab a card from my stash when I need a card quickly. Anything that we celebrate could fit the bill.
As you can see, I kinda had a circle or dot theme going on this card. Starting with the Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, the card base joins in the theme. The In Color polka dot banners are created with the 2015 – 2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.

The sentiment from Scenic Sayings is stamped with Watermelon Wonder Ink on a circle cut with a Circle Framelit. In addition, some interest is added to the sentiment with an image from the stamp set Timeless Texture. And, it fits the circle theme. Popping up the sentiment circle provides some contrast between it & the card base.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I appreciate your feedback and I love to read your comments so please consider commenting, if you have time.
Hugs,
Ginger

Today I am using the stamp set called Scenic Sayings that I won with a Prize Patrol at On Stage Live. As the name implies, it is a variety of sentiments.

The sentiment takes up a lot of real estate so I went pretty basic with this card. Quarter inch wide Strips of Basic Black from the Neutrals designer Series Paper Stack adorn each side of my card.

The stamp Watercolor Wash inked with Daffodil delight Ink supplies a nice background for the graphic sentiment which is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink, I like a yellow/black combination. For added color, some Daffodil Delight Candy Dots are randomly spaced around my card..

The final detail is a double loop bow made with Basic Black Baker's Twine. If you look closely, you can see the Staple in the middle of the bow. This is a quick & easy card but because the sentiment is big & bold, it doesn't require much else.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Please stop back tomorrow to see another card made with this stamp set.

Ginger

After attending On Stage Live and seeing the new catalog, all I can say is WOW! Lots of fun new stuff. But, enough said let me get to the sharing.

The stamp set Marquee Messages was in our bag at On Stage Live. It was an all attendee giveaway! Sara Douglass presented some sample cards on stage and I loved them. Bold & graphic! Paper Piecing is a nice technique to use with this stamp set and that is exactly what I did to get these vibrant sections on my card. My card stock choice is the 2015- 2017 In Colors. Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron & Watermelon Wonder.

I was so excited to share with you that I forgot to take time to get a nice background for my card. Hopefully you will overlook my haste and just appreciate the sneak peek! I know that I will use this set often – can't wait to play some more.

Because it is such a large photopolymer stamp, be sure to place the Stampin' Pierce Mat underneath prior to stamping your image. I stamped the image with Memento Black Ink on the card base so I would have a pattern to follow when I assembled my card. Then I used the same ink to stamp the image on 3 different pieces of card stock. The nice part is that I will have the components for 3 different cards after fussy cutting the images.. Now, don't groan! They are easy to cut.
My card is put together with Fast Fuse with the exception of the "arrow" which is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by mu blog today! I feel another sneak peek coming for tomorrow so please stop back!
