May 16, 2016 | Masculine, Sneak Peek |
Playing with the Swirly Bird Stamp Set has been very enjoyable this week and it is surprising how different the cards are that I have created with this stamp set.

My favorite part of my card is the waves of water beneath the boat. They were created with a thinlit die found in the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. The Swirly Bird Stamp Set & the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits can be purchased as a bundle. When I first saw these at Onstage Live, I knew I liked them but being able to play with them makes me know that I LOVE this bundle!! It is truly versatile but that is not surprising because there are 24 photopolymer stamps in this set.

The 4-1/4" x 11" 1card base is Watermelon Wonder. The sail on the boat is stamped with Mint Macaron Ink. The boat is stamped with Dapper Denim Ink, the flag with Watermelon Wonder Ink & the sun with Daffodil delight Ink. The sun is cut with a thinlit from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. The boat components are fussy cut and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment from Bear Hugs is stamped on Soft Sky Cardstock with Dapper Denim Ink. This piece is banner cut on one end & also popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. The sun is a swirly stamp from the Swirly Bird Stamp Set & cut with a thin lit.

Finally, I thought you would enjoy a close up of the water created with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Die. After cutting it out I cut it down to fit my card. The background is embossed with the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Thanks for stopping by my bog today! I appreciate any comments you leave for me and I read each & every one.
Hugs,
Ginger
May 15, 2016 | Sneak Peek, Thank You |
Time for another sneak peek! Put on your sunglasses because this is a bright one.

My card base is a 2016 -2018 In Color called Dapper Denim. This is a perfect addition to our color palette because if is a lighter shade than Night of Navy but a darker tone than Pacific Point. The Whisper White layer is matted with a piece of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.

A swirl from a new stamp set named Swirly Bird was stamped randomly on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. In addition, a few scribbles were cut from Dapper Denim Cardstock using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies & adhered on the card for dimension. A small flower from the Swirly Bird Stamp Set was inked with Flirty Flamingo Ink -another new 2016 – 2018 In Color, and stamped randomly inside some of the swirls.

The Thank You with the matching banner is courtesy of the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set & Duet Banner Punch Bundle – another sneak peek from the upcoming 2016 -2018 Annual Catalog. And the last sneak peek is the luscious 3/8" Ruched Flirty Flamingp Ribbon. Love this ribbon because it is so easy to work with and it is a perfect width for cards.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Hopefully you have started a wish list of the items you must have. Of course a catalog would help with that list. If you do not have a Demonstrator. I would love to earn your business and I would be happy to send you a catalog for free if you pay for shipping. Just send me an email with your name & address.

Ginger

The sneak peek for today involves new Designer Series Paper, a new stamp set & new framelits.

It is difficult to get a good photo of Melon Mambo. It is more mellow than it appears in the picture. Okay, on to the sneak peeks! First, the sentiment is from Layering Love – available June 1, 2016. No fussy cutting for this girl. The Sweet & Sassy Framelits (available June 1, 2016) are a fun new set that will create beautiful layers. This is a phenomenal set with 15 dies! Yippee – let the layering magic begin.

The base card is Melon Mambo which is layered with Basic Black Cardstock & Pop of Pink SpecialtyDesigner Series Paper. The color palette makes for a dynamic contrast. A strip of Melon Mambo Cardstock is embossed with the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder & placed near the top of the dsp.

The final touch is a trio of Melon Mambo Candy Dots added to balance the strip of embossed card stock.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Remember that if you have any questions about my card, I am only an email away & I love to chat with my blog readers.
