A Ginger Snap! You Are The Best!

Thank you Blog Readers!  Your suggestions for my vase of flowers and encouragement for my back recovery mean a lot to me.  With your help, I have altered the vase.  Although I am pleased with it, you are the final voice.  Let me know if you think we need to change/add anything.  Creating together has been awesome!

Here it is……

This is a list of some of the changes that you suggested.  And, you can see that I agreed with you & made the changes.

* Flowers were raised higher,

* The ribbon style & color was changed,

* Added a tag,

* Added some green spirals (kinda like leaves),

* Stamped leaves on the tag with versamark ink.

I also removed the ribbons from the smaller vases.

A Ginger Snap! I Need Your Help!

Vase top
Hi all my blog friends.  First, let me apologize that my post today is late.  Unfortunately, I have had issues with my back for a number of years and it decided to give me grief yesterday.  Walking is difficult and sitting is even worse.  The reason I am sharing this info, is to let you know why my creating will be slowed down.

In the meantime though, I do need your input on a project.  Using the Flower Shop stamp set  & the Pansy Punch, I created a flower bouquet in a darling vase that I picked up at a craft/sewing  store.  Although I am very pleased with the dirction it is going, I feel that it needs some finishing details.  This is where you come in.  Please leave me a comment with your suggestions about how to finish my project.

A Ginger Snap! PPA 170 Color Challenge!

The challenge from PPA today is to use Midnight Muse, Crushed Curry and Early Espresso.

Image1

 I contemplated this combo for some time.  Of course, I considered flowers, night sky, etc., but nothing really grabbed me.  Then I decided to just go nontraditional, and use something in a different color than what we normally associate with it…..

My card could be called pumpkins on Crushed Curry steroids!

Early Espresso is brought into the equation via the pumpkin stems, ribbon and candy dots – a triangle sorta.  And, the Midnight Muse forms the card base as well as an oval layer.  Look close and you can see that the sentiment is also stamped in Midnight Muse.

As I look at the card, I wish that I had embossed the very vanilla layer.  Next time….
