My sister Margie has a birthday at the end of the week and I wanted to make her a very special card because she is a very special sister!
The Melon Mambo Card Base did not photograph try to color. It looks mor fuchsia in the picture but it really is Melon Mambo. The balloons from Celebrate Today are stamped in Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight & Tangerine Tango Inks & cut out with the Balloon Framelits.
The balloons are stamped with images from the stamp sets Celebrate Today & Confetti Celebration which is a new stamp set that will be available June 1st. A sprinkling of Gold Foil Stars punched with the Confetti Stars Border Punch are glued around the front of my card.
The magic happens when you open the card. The Whisper White card stock insert slides up revealing the message Let's Celebrate also found in the Confetti Celebration Stamp Set. The picture was taken with the insert not fully engaged. But when slid up all the way the sentiment is completely visible. A few balloons from the Balloon Celebration are stamped & punched out with the Balloon Bouquet Punch.
A special shout out to Lee Ann Greff for giving me just the idea that I needed! Here is a link to her post with directions & a video showing how to make this card. Click Here to see her post.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger

Well done! So bright and fun! Love how it slides! The stars are a great touch using the gold foil. Lee Ann’s video was good too. Your sister will love this. I would be playing with it off and on a lot just see the message come into view! I will try this one of these days- it is so fun! Great job as always.
