Oh my gosh am I ever excited to be able to write this post. My internet was down for 36 hours and I was not sure when it would be up. Thankfully it started working this afternoon.
On to my card for today. It was stamped with the Market Fresh Stamp Set.
Making small cards like this one is both fun & easy. The card base is 3" x 6" – scored at 3". My image was stamped with Versa Mark Ink & Heat Embossed with Black Embossing Powder on Watercolor Paper. The strawberry was watercolored with Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive ink.
The image was fussy cut and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then it was placed on a piece of Farmer's Market Designer Series Paper that was punched with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch. A few strands of Linen Thread are tied through the top of the tag.
It would be so easy to recreate this card for any occasion. It would be nice to have a stack of these for birthdays.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Hugs,
Ginger
Fun and yummy looking strawberries! This would be so fun to keep to use as a book mark for a cookbook! Grate, err I mean great coloring. Sorry, got mixed up with the cookbook theme there! I love that gingham checked paper. That black embossing really sets off the watercoloring and the fussy cutting. Well done, just like how I prefer my meat cooked – not rare!
They finally have our home phone fixed and our internet is working as well. Life is good!
Love the gingham plaid paper! The strawberries really pop & look so delish! Love the black emboss powder too. What a great card!
Love the paper and the strawberries! Good card!
