With a new catalog on the horizon, I find myself beginning to panic a bit because of my stamp sets that have not seen ink yet.  Today I used just such a set – one that I truly do love called Choose Happiness.

Choose Happiness is a wonderful stamp set with a variety of images.  Using a number of different stamps from the set, I created a background collage using Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake & Pear Pizzaz Ink.  In addition, I used the speckles stamp from Gorgeous Grunge in order to add a bit more texture..

A small border of color is added to the Very Vanilla Card Base with a Blushing Bride layer.  This in turn is topped with the collage piece.  The upper right corners of both top layers are scrunched, rolled and separated to enhance the vintage feel of my card.  Linen Thread is wrapped around the top of the card 3 times and finished with a double bow.

Tea Lace Doilie that was sponged with Blushing Bride Ink provides a backdrop for my 3-D flower that is also stamped with Blushing Bride Ink.  The flower is made of 3 flowers that are stamped, fussy cut & finally scrunched for dimension.  The flowers are layered one on top of the other with a Pearl adding the finishing touch.

The sentiment, also from the Choose Happiness stamp set, is colored with Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake & Pear Pizzaz Stampin' Write Markers.  It is punched with the Label Bracket Punch.  The border of the sentiment is created by punching 2 pieces with the same punch from Blushing Bride Cardstock.  I cut 1 of these labels horizontally and 1 vertically.  This allowed me to layer the sentiment so just a hint of the color showed.  The sentiment is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Tomorrow I will have another sneak peek for you.

Hugs,

Ginger
