Welcome to another Thursday Sketch Challenge with the Pals Paper Arts (PPA). I am delighted to be the designer of our sketch challenge this week. It is a simple sketch and I hope it will encourage you to join us.
Lots of sneak peeks to feast your eyes upon! Let's start with the background paper and work forward. The snappy black & very vanilla pattern paper can be found in the soon to be released Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Pack. In addition, the vibrant brushstroke pattern paper can also be found in the same paper pack. Both are mounted on Basic Black Cardstock showing just a small border.
Check out the sketch below.
The sentiment is another sneak peek from the soon to be released stamp set Painter's Palette. And, it is stamped in Flirty Flamingo Ink - a new 2016 – 2018 In Color. Bet you spotted that strip of Playful Palette Washi Tape placed at the top of the sentiment.
A festive balloon punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch from a sporty polka dot pattern paper found in the Painter's Palette Designer Series Paper Stack is attached to the painter's palette with a piece of Very VanillaThick Baker's Twine.

WOW!! This is my kind of card bright & colorful! Love everything about this card! I can hardly wait for May 3rd to order!! Awesome card!
I’m so envious of this beautiful new designer series paper. Love how you mixed the patterns together and the font for the sentiment is delightful!
Oh Ginger this is adorable! Love all the new stuff…..beautiful paper and that stamp set is fab! Thanks for the fun sketch!
Love this card! The paper is awesome! Waiting for May 3rd!!
Great sketch to make this such a playful card. Glad you used that word because, well, it is playful with all the bold patterns and colors. The sentiment is just perfect with the easel and then the cute balloon tied to the easel! Love it. When you said you were wanting to play with your new stuff – you took advantage and dived in using a lot of new stuff! Love the touch of the Washi Tape to hold on the sentiment to the easel – the little push pin stamp might have gotten lost in all the fun! The black in all the pieces just makes everything pop! I went to the Pals blog and checked out all the amazing cards! I think everyone loved your sketch! Good job as always.
Fun sneak peek of lots of new stuff, Ginger! I love that little easel stamp and the colors are so fun together! I loved using your cute sketch this week and I’ll probably use it again!
This is really very colorful. The violet (Blackberry Bliss?) really makes it pop!
We visited relatives in Montana about 15 years ago (they have moved since). The Copper mine in Butte and the Virginia City ghost town were were very memorable attractions.
Brent thank you for taking the time to comment! I actually live in Butte and Virginia City is not far away. I am excited about the new In Colors that are featured in the dsp – Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo & Emerald Envy.
Hi Ginger! Thanks for the fun sketch! Glad to see so many interpretations of it this week.
Ginger: Oh good you are using the new colors. I just found the RGBs.
