Yesterday I mentioned that I am fixated on Subway Art. I have one more card to share and then I will change gears – promise! I know it is April Fools Day so I have an out in case I slip!
This card is all about thank you.
This time I used just 2 sets of thank you stamps - Lots of Thanks & Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set. My color combo was the 2013-2015 In Colors. I started with a larger square of Whisper White c.s. and I randomly stamped the various "thank you" images in a variety of In Colors. After finshing stamping, I used the largest Starburst Framelit to cut out my piece. This is a nice technique to use because the images are randomly truncated by the cut.
Because of the shape of my stamped piece, I decided to use a piece of Pistachio Pudding Polka Dot dsp from the 2013-2015 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack as a mat for my Whisper White card base which is 5-1/4" x 5-1/4".
You all know how much I adore candy dots so I am sure that it is no surprise to see a trio of Subtle Candy Dots in the lower right-hand corner. In order to keep my card balanced, I placed an Arrow from the Essentials Wooden Elements in the upper left corner. Notice that its tail is wrapped with some Linen Thread & then tied in a knot.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Remember, if you have any questions about my card, I am only an email away.
Hugs,
Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
I love both your subway art cards!
I like this one too!! Your on a roll with the Subway Art and if you feel inclined to do another one or two, I’m with it all the way. I like the colors in this one two, I like the sunburst you used and the wooden arrow. There is nothing I don’t like.
Nice fun card!! I really like it because it is bright and cheerful! It would be okay with me if you decided to make more subway art! Nice Job!
Oh, I like this even better! The round sunburst shape sure catches the eye! Of course you ha me at the polka dotted paper too. Then the arrow just really zings it! I really think you need to do another one so we can compare one more! These are just so fun and different! Love that!
