Welcome to another card in the Quick and Easy Series.  Yesterday in a comment, one of my faithful blog readers referred to it as a Snap to Make.  Isn't she clever to tie it in with "A Ginger Snap".   A big thanks to  Chris R. from Iowa who renamed this series – "It's a Snap to Make!".  Thanks Chris!

The card today is another one from the Concept Artists from Stampin' Up!  I love the way they used the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die.  It never occured to me to cut the die cut image apart.  But that is exactly what they did.  The card size is 4-2/2" x 4 – 1/2".

The Hexagon Hive Thinlit Die leaves a few of the hexagons intact but completely removes others.  In some of the open hexagons, the artist used the Hexagon stamp from the Geometrical Stamp set to add touches of "hexagon color".  Three hexagons were stamped with Gumball Green Ink and two of the Hexagons were stamped in Crushed Curry Ink.

The Geometrical Stamp Set also provided the matching sentiment which is stamped with Bermuda Bay Ink.  Notice that once again the color combo consists of 3 colors – bermuda bay, crushed curry and gumball green.  Arrows from the Geometrical stamp set were also inked in each of the colors from the combo.  After fussy cutting them, they were popped up with Stampin'Dimensionals.  Notice that the head of each arrow is placed in a stamped outline of a hexagon. This helps draw your eye down to the sentiment.  And, the background of all white helpos the arrows to work their magic.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Hugs,

Ginger
