Yesterday I posted a Hexagon Hive card created by a Stampin' Up! concept artists. Honestly, I struggled to make a card for today. It wasn't caused by the card I was using for inspiration but rather by the fact that I had to get packed to travel to a District Boys Basketball tournament. Our son Chris is the coach of the Superior Bobacts and they are undefeated this season. Wahoo! Obviously, the tension is high heading into tournaments. On top of that, I had to get prepared for a workshop that is happening the day I return. And, I had to enter a workshop order from a party last night. So, as you can imagine, I found it hard to concentrate on creating a card.
I used the Hexagon Hive Thinlit Die on a sheet of Gold Foil and cut it the same way the SU concept artists cut their card. And, I used the same sentiment from the Geometrical stamp set. However, I used flowers for accents rather than arrows. In addition, I did not use all white. As you can see, I used black, Primrose Petals and of course Gold. Lots of pearls too!
Looking at my card, there is a change I plan to make. I am going to stamp 3 more Strawberry Slush Petite Petals. The small black flowers will be replaced with the new flowers. I think the flow will be better with that change.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:

Adorable, Ginger! I love the pearls!
Can we see what you could do with just 15 minutes and blindfolded (of course major components already supplied)? This would have taken major concentration and probably lots of time for me to create. I, agree with Ann, the pearls are perfect! I don’t mind the black flowers but maybe you could show us the same card with more of the strawberry slush flowers to compare….but only in your spare time. Wishing the team and your son success!
Very creative! Seems there is something for everyone with this card. I’m wondering how did you come up with this outstanding card during all the distractions. Give Chris my congratulations on winning the tournament. Now on to bigger things. I’m sure glad you made it home before the big storm hit.
That would be interesting for sure Chris! Thanks for the suggestion to do the card with more of the strawberry slush flowers. I will do that for sure! I think I will like it better with more.
I agree with Chris from Iowa I’d love to see what you would do blindfolded with 15 minutes to make the card! I would also like to see the strawberry slush flowers. I’m still deciding if I like the gold paper think the jury is out on that one yet. Awesome job for you card & awesome job for Chris & his team winning!
Love this card! I will have o try it! I have everything I need to do it! Great Job! I agree with all the others who commented!
