What do you get when you mix the Hip Notes stamp set with the Petite Petals Stamp Set?  the answer – A Hip Card with Petals!  Okay, I know that was kinda lame…..  But, it describes my card today pretty well.  My color combo today is Strawberry Slush,  Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana. Take a look.

Rt thanks

Using the same basic design as the inspiration card created by Stampin' Up! concept artists, I just changed the elements in order to create  a unique card.  The Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder adds the pizzaz to my Whisper White c.s.  For this card, I changed the location of both the sentiment and the adornments.  I did stick with 3 petals because the experts say to use an odd number of elements.  So, I clustered 3 flowers together that were created with the Petite Petals Stamp Set & the Petite Petals Punch.

It's the little details that make a card special – don't you agree?  In this case, I added the smallest Basic Rhinestone Pearls to the center of each flower.  Rather than use a button like I did on my inspiration card, I chose to tie a Linen Thread Bow on a Silver Mini Metallic Clothespin.   The sentiment stamped with Coastal Cabana Ink is from the Hip Notes Set.  I'm itching to use this set with the new Essentials Wooden Elements that are on page 18 of the Spring catalog.

Finally, a look at the cards together.

Comaprison love you so calypso
