It's hard to believe that Halloween is fast approaching!

But thanks to this totally fun & bewitching Witching Decor Project Kit from Stampin' Up! I am ready! This is such an adorable kit and so easy to put together that I may just have to do another one. The kit comes with almost everything you need. But, if you want to create this, then the additional supplies needed are The Witches Night stamp set, a Soft Suede Ink Pad, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Black StazOn Ink Pad & Tear & Tape Adhesive – love this stuff!. No more red tape liner cling everywhere!
However, for those of you living close to me, I will have a class for this in September after the kit is available on September 1st. Stay tuned for more info. If you are not close, this kit can be ordered from my website starting on September 1st.

This hat is about 11" – 12" tall and the base is a 12" diameter circle. It is quite sturdy and something that I know I will be using for many years to come. I plan to store mine in a rubbermaid container to protect it.
Today is our 45th Wedding Anniversary but I have not created a card yet for my husband. However, I will post what I create later in the week. Where did the years go? Guess I better get busy!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Aug 14, 2015 | Get Well |

My card today is to cheer up a dear friend who wound up in the hospital but thankfully is now home. This was one of those stamps in the 2015 – 2016 Annual Catalog that I knew I had to have. It makes such a nice card in such a short time.

For this card, I stamped the image with the new Archival Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and then a second time on a pretty butterfly pattern from Pretty Petals Designer Series paper Stack. With my trusty Paper Snips, I cut out the cup image from the dsp and also cut out the cup contents which I flipped over to get the Calypso Coral pattern.
T
The image is matted on the same patterned designer series paper – just the reverse side. Using the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Pack, I punched a matching heart from a scrap of the same dsp and popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Before you go. please consider leaving me a comment. I enjoy reading what you think about my offerings and it is what inspires me to keep posting!

Aug 13, 2015 | Pals Paper Arts, PPA card |
It's time to play with the Pals Paper Arts (PPA) again. This week we are working with a color challenge.

And here is the color challenge.

As you can see, I used a variety of product. Let me start from the back and work forward. Don't you love the new Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder? I find myself using it often – especially nice for masculine cards. The color on the brick wall was created by using sponge daubers in 3 different Stampin' Up! colors – the three colors in the challenge.
The next layer is a piece of Rich Razzleberry dsp from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack that is matted with a piece of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.

On top of that layer is a piece of Pear Pizazz Cardstock that has been embossed with the Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It is matted with Whisper White Cardstock.
Moving forward is a stamped image using a stamp from Watercolor Wings. The image is stamped with Rich Razzleberry Ink and matted with matching card stock. This helps to tie the card together so it doesn't just look like a hodgepodge.

The star of my card is the sweet little butterfly flapping its multicolored wings that sit atop a butterfly cut from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock with a Butterflies Thinlit. The new Silver Metallic Thread forms loops behind the butterfly to add both texture and dimension.
Look closely and you will spy a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel placed on the butterfly body. The final touches are a sentiment banner and a trio of Brights Candy Dots placed near the top of the card to provide balance for my butterfly.
I am so appreciative of the comments that you leave for me. I read each and every one of them and I really look forward to them. Please leave me a comment today letting me know what you think about my card.
