My card today is to cheer up a dear friend who wound up in the hospital but thankfully is now home. This was one of those stamps in the 2015 – 2016 Annual Catalog that I knew I had to have. It makes such a nice card in such a short time.
For this card, I stamped the image with the new Archival Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and then a second time on a pretty butterfly pattern from Pretty Petals Designer Series paper Stack. With my trusty Paper Snips, I cut out the cup image from the dsp and also cut out the cup contents which I flipped over to get the Calypso Coral pattern.
The image is matted on the same patterned designer series paper – just the reverse side. Using the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Pack, I punched a matching heart from a scrap of the same dsp and popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Before you go. please consider leaving me a comment. I enjoy reading what you think about my offerings and it is what inspires me to keep posting!
Hugs,
Ginger
I like the paper you picked for this project but the little white dots around the calypso coral, inside the heart and inside the bowl sure do add to the image. This is another keeper.
I almost want to go to the hospital just so you would send me one of these cool cards! Like I said, ALMOST!
I love this – the printed DP makes it so fun and special with it’s bright and cheery colors. Plain bowls are pretty much the norm in households but everyone needs a “souped” up bowl to call their own. I used to have my own special bowl for my cereal or to use when I didn’t feel real good and wanted pudding or soup or something in it. Unfortunately it broke and I have never really looked for another special bowl just for me.
This is a great card and would perk anyone up! Love the dotted matting paper too. Just a great Get Well Card. Wouldn’t this be a fun card to accompany some real soup or even a can of Progresso tomato bisque with basil soup? The colors fit!
Love this stamp set love this card! I look so forward to each day to see what stamp & paper you’ll use for your card for the day! Awesome job!
Love this card, the paper, the design! Love it all!
