Happy Easter to everyone. Hopefully today finds you relaxing and enjoying fine weather wherever you find yourself! The creation for the post today is by guest blogger Beth Klaumann.
Beth said that these were easy to create using the 1" x 8" cellophane bags made by Stampin' Up!. I didn't realize that stores have Easter candy corn. Nice!!! A cute tag is attached to the bags with 3/8" Old Olive Striped Organdy Ribbon & the 1/8" Baja Breeze Taffeta Ribbon. A close up of the tags is next.
The Hearts a Flutter Framelits have an assortment of tags. Beth said this one is the perfect size for the images from the Spring Sampler stamp set that she used. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The tag images are colred with various Stampin' Write Markers.
Beth made a bunch of these for small thank you gifts and give aways. What a great idea! Be sure to let Beth know what you think of her project by leaving a comment for her.
I promise that this is the last of the sympathy cards for awhile. As I mentioned the other day, I prefer my sympathy cards to be clean & simple. How about you? What is your style?
All supplies arefrom Stampin' Up!
This card is pretty simple - no dsp, no punches, no Big Shot. The cardstock is mostly Whisper White with a banner made from Certainly Celery Cardstock. The flower is from the stamp set Love & Sympathy and I inked it with the Certainly Celery & Marina Mist Markers. The sentiment is from the SO Sorry stamp set and it was also inked with Marina Mist and certainly celery markers. I liked the So Sorry stamp set from the first time I laid my eyes on it! Check out the other options with this stamp set. It is pictured at the end of this post.
Do you like your images to be straight without any guesswork? I sure do. That is why I used the Stamp-a-Ma-Jig to make sure of the placement of my sentiment. That is especially important with a clean & simple card.
I mentioned earlier in the week that I had need for a number of sympathy cards. This one is for the family of a former colleague. Tom was one of those very special people that made evryone like him. He had a rich sense of humor and he was kind – but he wouldn't want anyone to know that about him. Tom was a good man and he will be missed.
The colors are off a bit in the picture. The dsp almost looks gray but it really is more crumb cake in color. Can you believe that the dsp actually came from parker's patterns?
