Jul 16, 2013 | Thank You |
I am in Salt Lake anticipating the start of the Stampin' Up! Convention. The energy level is high with lots of excitement in the air. And, I want to share some of that excitement with you in the form of a seak peek from the Holiday Mini which starts August 1st.

The card base is Pumpkin Pie c.s. but for some reason the picture makes it look much brighter, Can you spot at least 4 new items on the card? Different patterns of dsp only count once.

I was pleased with how this card turned out. Sometimes I imagine an outcome that doesn't always happen! There is a new product in the mini called Thinlits and I used one of them to cut the word thankful. The secret to using the thinlits is to put a piece of waxed paper between the thinlit and your piece of c.s., They work like a dream then! Just use your paper piercer to poke out the holes.

One layer on the card is 1-1/4" Burlap ribbon. Now this is fun stuff! It can be used on cards, 3-D projects, gift wrapping, etc. Good stuff! I adhered it with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
A new stamp, Magnificent Maple, provides the focal image, I stamped it once each in Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip and snipped each leaf out in order to stack them together.

Sweater Weather dsp is my choice for this card. Isn't that just the best name ever! It immediately calls up images of cool weather, hot chocolate by the fire and of course, a warm sweater. If you liked the card today, please leave me a comment. I do read each and every one of them.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

MAGNETIC PLATFORM UNAVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
July 15, 2013
Due to an unfortunate backorder situation, the Big Shot Magnetic Platform (item 130658) will be temporarily turned off Thursday, July 18, at 12:01 AM (MT). This means that you and your customers won't be able to buy it until further notice. While we're thrilled to be offering a product that you and your customers clearly like, we regret not being able to anticipate just how much you would like it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Here are answers to some of the questions you might have:
Why are you doing this?
We went through what we thought would be a 13-week supply of the Magnetic Platform in just three weeks, and rather than continuing the backorder situation for you and your customers, we believe it's best to make it unavailable for purchase until we can replenish our inventory. Our supplier is working at capacity to meet our demand, and we will continue working closely with them to get the situation addressed as quickly as possible.
When will the Magnetic Platform be available?
We expect that it will be available early fall.
What if I already ordered it when it was on backorder?
We'll fill all closed backorders as we get more Magnetic Platforms in. We are receiving periodic shipments from our vendor and as soon as they come in we'll fulfill orders in the approximate order they were received.
Remember, you have until Thursday, July 18, at 12:01 AM (MT) to close current Magnetic Platform orders (or make a new one); all of these placed orders will be on backorder.
So, if you want the Magnetic Platform, order it now by clicking on shop now.
Hugs,
Ginger
Jul 15, 2013 | Christmas |
It's almost time to leave for Convention. As the kids would say, "only 1 more sleep". And, my list just seems to be growing instead of getting smaller. But, I will have some sneak peek cards for you while I am gone. So, let's start the week off with a peek!

This fun card is from TheMerry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit. The red polka dot envelope liner is part of the kit. The image is stamped with Merry Little Christmas - a new stamp from the Holiday Mini. It goes live on August 1st. If you do not have a regular Demonstrator, I would be happy to send you a free Holiday Mini with a $25 order. Or, if you pay shipping, then I will send it to you for free.

Stampin' Up! thought of all the little details with this kit. The button, baker's twine and tag are all included. It would be so easy to make a stack of these for Holiday card giving. Everything is already cut and scored. And, the kit includes the envelopes.
Be sure to check back for more sneak peeks as they will mixed in with other posts. Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
