Have you had a chance to check out the new Holiday Mini from Stampin' Up!? There are so many items that really appeal to me that I am having a difficult time selecting my favorites. After using some of the new products, I love them even more. For example, the Expression Thinlits are wonderful! Putting a piece of wax paper between the die and the paper makes it so easy to remove the word from the die.

Anytime that I think of a wreath, I emvision it on a door. So, using the Wonderful Wreath stamp required that I create a door. The top part of my door was created by placing a piece of Early Espresso cardstock into a Window Frames Collection Framelits. I let the framelit cut the top part of the c.s. but I lifted the bottom part pf the c.s. so that it was on top of the framelit. That way it would not get cut.

In order to make the door more realistic, I embossed it with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. The door knob was created with the Brad Base for the Candy Dots & a Candy Dot.
The wreath was fussy cut and popped up on the door with Stampin' Dimensionals. The circle punch from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack was used to create berries from Cherry Cobbler c.s.

The background paper is from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack. This pack makes it so easy to create a bunch of Christmas cards using the same paper because it contains 48 sheets: 24 each of 2 double-sided designs.
Please open this door and join my team – the Ginger Stampers! I am part of the Stampin' Pretty Pals virtual group under Mary Fish. In addition to the perks offered by Stampin' Up!, our group has access to much more. And, for a limited time, you can select any kit from the Holiday mini for free, when you join my group. A few days ago there was a clean and simple challenge that I wanted to enter. Unfortunatley, my Internet was down so I could not post my card for the challenge. But, I did want to share it with you today.

Pretty simple, huh! Off the Grid was inked with Baked Brown Sugar Ink and then stamped off prior to stamping the image. The tree from Lovely as a Tree is stamped 3 times in Always Artichoke - without reinking in between.

My faithful Stamp-A-Ma-Jig helped me to get my sentiment straight. Speaking of the sentiment, it is from A Dozen Thoughts. This might be my favorite sentiment set in the catalog. It has a nice variety of both sentiments and fonts.

Linen Thread adds some texture to the card. And, I think it fits with the outdoorish theme.

With all the hot weather evrywhere, snow might sound refreshing! But, what I am sharing today is a cute little snowman. I saw this idea at Convention and fell in love with it. I couldn't wait to try it out myself. And, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't share it with you?
The base of my card is actually the Card Base Pop 'n Cuts Die with some folding. The Deco Labels Collection was used for my snowman layer and the mat. White Craft Ink brings the snowman to life. The rest of him is stamped with Early Espresso Ink.
When I think about my top 10 favorite things in the new Holiday Mini, the Expressions Thinlits Dies have to be near the top of the list. The trick to using them is to place a piece of waxed paper between the die and your paper. Works like a charm!
Topping the snowman off is his hat which is stamped with Old Olive Ink, fussy cut and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I looped some Linen Thread around the base of the Deco Label and tied it in a bow. It is simply decorative and has no "function".
What self respecting snowman would be caught without a decent scarf?
This scarf was fashioned from the new 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon. However, the 7/16" Trim would have worked as well.
If enough people leave a comment saying that you are interested in how to fold the card base, then I will post directions.
