Have you had a chance to check out the new Holiday Mini from Stampin' Up!? There are so many items that really appeal to me that I am having a difficult time selecting my favorites. After using some of the new products, I love them even more. For example, the Expression Thinlits are wonderful! Putting a piece of wax paper between the die and the paper makes it so easy to remove the word from the die.
Anytime that I think of a wreath, I emvision it on a door. So, using the Wonderful Wreath stamp required that I create a door. The top part of my door was created by placing a piece of Early Espresso cardstock into a Window Frames Collection Framelits. I let the framelit cut the top part of the c.s. but I lifted the bottom part pf the c.s. so that it was on top of the framelit. That way it would not get cut.
In order to make the door more realistic, I embossed it with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. The door knob was created with the Brad Base for the Candy Dots & a Candy Dot.
The wreath was fussy cut and popped up on the door with Stampin' Dimensionals. The circle punch from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack was used to create berries from Cherry Cobbler c.s.
The background paper is from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack. This pack makes it so easy to create a bunch of Christmas cards using the same paper because it contains 48 sheets: 24 each of 2 double-sided designs.
Please open this door and join my team – the Ginger Stampers! I am part of the Stampin' Pretty Pals virtual group under Mary Fish.
