My Upline, Mary Fish, is sponsoring a game with her Downline called the name game. We have to use a stamp, product or tool that starts with the first letter of our first name. With a name like Ginger, what would you choose to use? I chose the stamp set Gorgeous Grunge. Although the game has been going on for a few days, I developed a cold and did not feel like playing. But, the game ends soon so I bit the bullet today and whipped up a card in order to play along.
It seems like I always need birthday cards so I paired Cycle Celebration with Gorgeous Grunge for a fun card. Island Indigo, Elegant Eggplant and Basic Gray comprise my color pallette. For a bit of bling, I added a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper. A thin stip of dsp from the Neutrals DSP Stack calls attention to the glimmer paper & the sentiment.
Gorgeous Grunge is a fun stamp set with lots of interesting images. Because I knew that I would most likely use it at my stamping events, I chose to buy it in wood.
Because my card base is such a dark color, I lined the inside with a piece of Whisper White c.s. The sentiment is from Cycle Celebration and it is stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink.
