Using the Pretty Paisleys Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, emboss one of thtwo Very Vanilla Layers.  Using the Layering Ovals Framelits, cut an oval from this piece.  Use the same Oval Framelit & the slightly larger Scalloped Oval Framelit to cut a frame from a Copper Foil Sheet.  Adhere the frame to the cut out oval with the Fine Top Glue Pen.

A Ginger Snap! Thankful, Grateful & Blessed!

The Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper is more elegant & rich than it appears in the catalog photo, in my opinion.  It takes center stage on my card today.

Paisley & Poisies rt

Because I am highlighting the DSP, I chose to put it & the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at jaunty angles to one another so that bits of the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock peek out from the DSP.

Paisleys & Poisies left

My card base is Mint Macaron Cardstock  chosen to accent another color found in the DSP. My sentiment from Paisleys & Poisies is stamped with Rich Razzleberry Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock.  The Layering Ovals Framelits cut the perfect oval for my sentiment.

The Paisley Framelits Dies are used with Copper Foil  to create a charming accent which adds texture to my card.  Finally. a trio of Rich Razzleberry Enamel Shapes add dimension & draw the eye down so as to ground my card.

A Ginger Snap! A Simple Flourishing Phrases Sympathy!

I keep saying that I am going to create a stash of sympathy cards but somehow I don't seem to get it done.  And, I need 2 sympathy cards this week which means that I am creating something simple in order to get my cards in the mail.

Sympathy left

Although it is a simple card, I think there is also some elegance about it.  I started with a standard card base & popped up my art piece which is on a 3-7/8 x 5-3/8 Whisper White c.s…  I stamped the flourish & the sentiment from Flourishing Phrases with Rich Razzleberry Ink.

Sympathy rt

In order to add some texture, I cut the border from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock with the Flourish Thinlits Dies. Because it is so thin, I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere it to my card.

Sympathy strt

A trio of Rich Razzleberry Enamel Shapes are scattered around my card front in order to add some visual interest.

Sympathy inside

The inside of my card is stamped with a companion sentiment from Flourishing Phrases.  I also cut a small flower with the Flourish Thinlits & a small piece of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.
