A Ginger Snap! A Card From Mary Fish!

Recently I met a Stampin' Up! Career Milestone for sales.  My Upline and friend, Mary Fish sent me a card of congratulations that I want to share with you today.  Mary created a hybrid card using My Digital Studio.  After it was printed, she added some sweet embellishments.

This sweet card could be easily duplicated without going digital.  Don't you just love the addition of the Basic Metal Button tied with Island Indigo Baker's Twine.

This basic design is definitely a winner and one that I intend to use.  Instead of the scallop border, a strip of dsp or coordinating cardstock used with another type of punch could produce a distinctly different outcome.

Thank you Mary for remembering my accomplishment(

And, thanks to you for stopping by my blog today!

A Ginger Snap! I Need Your Help!

First, let me apologize for the crazy way the words are wrapping around. Some of you know that my husband Bob is scheduled for hip replacement surgery on Wednesday, March 12th. Because I will be his caregiver that means that I will not be able to hold Stampin' Up! Events until he is self sufficient. It is hard to know exactly when that might be because he has a kidney transplant which complicates any procedure for him. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Because I will be focused on his care, I am not sure how much I will be able to post. You all know that I will do my best to have something for you. In the meanwhile, I am offering some free tutorials to you for placing a $50 (before shipping and tax) order on my online store. If you place a $100 order (before shipping & tax) then you will get 2 free tutorials. Of course, any $150 order pre tax & shipping will get 3 tutorials. The third tutorial will be available Sunday.

Check out the pictures to see the tutorials. And, be sure to email me when you place your order so I can send you the tutorials electronically.

"Did you know stampers are wild about stamp sets with coordinating framelits? It’s true! Why? Because coordinating stamps and dies make creating terrific looking projects fast. One of my favorite coordinating duos just got better! The Secret Garden Framelits are paired with the Secret Garden stamp set in the Annual Catalog. Now a beautiful new stamp set called Simple Stems also coordinates with the Secret Garden Framelits. Yeah! Two stamp sets that match one set of framelits. What a great way to double the value and double the “Ohh’s” and “Ahh’s”! Order your stamps and coordinating framelits today and start cranking out something fabulous.” Tip: The outline images of the Secret Garden stamp set are great for watercoloring and coloring techniques. The solid images of the Simple Stems stamp set are ideal for techniques like Rock n’ Roll and coloring direct with Stampin’ Write Markers.

And, information on the second tutorial.

A Ginger Snap! Where’s Peter Cottontail?!

This is another quick card for Easter.  I only had a bit of time before I had to leave for the State Basketball games so I hurried and made this card.  The Punch Art Bunny goes to gather quickly and the Fringe Scissors make quick work of the grass,

Easter Bunny rt

The bunny is a resuly of punching the following shapes from Whisper White cardstock.

1 -3/4" Scallop Circle

Scallop Oval (need 3 of these)

Punch the following from Pink Pirouette cardstock.

Large Oval (need 2 of these)

1/2" circle (need 2 of these)

Itty Bitty Shapes Pack (3 of the scallop circle for the tail)

Punch the following from the Basic Black cardstock.

Itty Bitty Shapes Pack Circle (punch 3 of these for the eyes & the nose)

Bunny left

The grass is created by using the Fringe Scissors with Wild Wasabi Pistachio Pudding Cardstock.  And every self respecting bunny needs to be surrounded by Easter Eggs.  The Small Oval is the perfect size for these little critters.  Punch 5 ovals from a variety of cardstock.  I slipped them into the grass with just a bit of snail to hold them in place.

Bunny Straight

White gel Pen adds an accent to the eyes while a Basic Black Marker creates the whiskers & the mouth. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is stamped with Wild Wasabi Ink.  Remember that if you need any of the supplies used on my card today, just click on the item below and you will be taken directly to my online store.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!   Please give a cheer for the Superior Bobcats!  Keeping my fingers crossed that they play up to their capabilities.

Hugs,

Ginger
