A Ginger Snap! Problem Fixed!

Hi Peeps!  I am pleased to say that I may have fixed my computer problem.  Let's see if this post works.

Thoughtful Branches is a wonderful stamp set that can be used in so many ways.  Unfortunately, my Sister-In-Law Maria passed away and I needed a sympathy card for my brother.  And, I turned to Thoughtful Branches, Petals & Paisleys Specialty designer Series Paper along with some Copper Foil Sheets.

I think that Maria would have liked this card.  She loved to receive cards in the mail.  As you can see, I forgot to photograph it until after I had written inside it.

The combination of the Thoughtful Branches Thinlits Dies & the  Die Brush make it easy to create the Copper Foil Tree that is the centerpiece of my card.

Because I cut a few Paisleys from Copper Foil, I put one on the inside of the card & one on the envelope.

Today is my birthday.  I had planned on posting a birthday card for fun but sometimes life gets in the way.  Maria was a dear soul and she will definitely be missed.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:

A Ginger Snap! What The Heck!

Hi my friends and blog readers.  I mentioned in my post yesterday that I was experiencing some computer issues after upgrading my Mac to the latest version.  Evidently this improvement changed the way my pictures are handled.  Even though I have creations to share, I have not been able to get them where I need them to be.

Unfortunately I will be out of town for a few days which means that I cannot work on the problem.  Please bear with me.  I will be back with much to share.

Hugs

A Ginger Snap! PPA Sketch Challenge!

There is a fun Sketch Challenge over at the Pals Paper Arts (PPA) & I couldn't resist another post using product from the new Holiday Catalog which is live today.

Candy Cane Christmas flat

The Candy Cane Lane Christmas stamp set is the perfect match for the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series paper.  The combination of Crumb Cake, Real Red, Whisper White & Early Espresso makes me think of Gingerbread Men & all the fun that goes with them!

Of course, with such delicious paper, how could I pass up a matching envelope flap made with sweet Gumdrops.  The fun ring around the Hard Candies on the left can be found in the Merriest Wishes Stamp Set.  After stamping it in Real Red Ink, I punched it out with a Circle Punch.

The sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas is only inked partially.  I used scotch tape to cover the bottom of the sentiment then inked the stamp with Real Red Ink.  Be sure to remove the tape before stamping the sentiment!

A strip of Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape adds some whimsy to the left side of the sentiment piece.  And, it is topped with a bow created from Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine.

Patti MacLeith – a Pal & a friend created this versatile sketch.  As you can see from the Design Team Creations, this sketch is a keeper.  Click Here to see what the Design Team created for you.

I am having computer issues and unfortunately cannot download the sketch nor can I show SU supplies used.
