There is a fun Sketch Challenge over at the Pals Paper Arts (PPA) & I couldn't resist another post using product from the new Holiday Catalog which is live today.
The Candy Cane Lane Christmas stamp set is the perfect match for the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series paper. The combination of Crumb Cake, Real Red, Whisper White & Early Espresso makes me think of Gingerbread Men & all the fun that goes with them!
Of course, with such delicious paper, how could I pass up a matching envelope flap made with sweet Gumdrops. The fun ring around the Hard Candies on the left can be found in the Merriest Wishes Stamp Set. After stamping it in Real Red Ink, I punched it out with a Circle Punch.
The sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas is only inked partially. I used scotch tape to cover the bottom of the sentiment then inked the stamp with Real Red Ink. Be sure to remove the tape before stamping the sentiment!
A strip of Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape adds some whimsy to the left side of the sentiment piece. And, it is topped with a bow created from Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine.
Patti MacLeith – a Pal & a friend created this versatile sketch. As you can see from the Design Team Creations, this sketch is a keeper. Click Here to see what the Design Team created for you.
I am having computer issues and unfortunately cannot download the sketch nor can I show SU supplies used.
Thanks for stopping by my Blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
I love how you coordinated everything with that DSP! This is definitely sweet!
What a sweet card! Love the colors, DSP and the stamp set. You did a fabulous job!
Goody goody gum drop! My isn’t this a sweet treat for the eyes! You already had my attention with the crumb cake paper and envelope and then all the eye candy! I think the matching Washi tape puts the pepper in peppermint! Then there are the rhinestones and the baker’s twine which are the just the best icing on the little gingerbread men. I have such a sugar rush just looking at this fun card and envelope. I can’t wait to see this DP in my hands. I picked up a piece of glitter paper that has peppermints on it a few years ago at Michaels – darn, I wish I had bought more as it looks like it would go so well with this. Your card is perfect for the sketch. Love the dotted ring around the candies. This is really just too much fun to look at! Great job as always!
Cute, cute cute as can be. I like the paper and how you did the side. I like the little bows, that is what makes it so cute.
I love those three candies on the side!! Way to jazz up the cute paper, Ginger!
You’re killing me with the fabulous cards! This Xmas card is killing with everything on it! What a great card to send to grandkids for Xmas! Sorry about your computer issues I was hoping to copy the list to order everything I need to make these sweet cards! You did it again! You enabled me when I was so set on not getting this set! Absolutely loved this card!
This looks like a sugar coated Christmas treat to me, Ginger! It’s an adorable card.
Perfect! This ranks as one of my all-time favorite holiday cards! It doesn’t get any better than this!
