A Ginger Snap! As the World Spins!

For my card today, I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something with a Vintage look.  Traveler -  a new sneak peek stamp set, has some nice old fashioned images so I decided to give them a try. World rt

My A2 Very Vanilla Card Base was inked up with the World Map Background stamp in Soft Suede Ink.  By stamping off prior to stamping, I get a fainter image that fits my vintage take for this card.  The Chocolate Chip Cardstock Square was stamped with  the retired Off the Grid stamp with Versamark Ink.  It was then Heat Embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

The World Globe from the Traveler Stamp set was inked up with the new Lost Lagoon In Color Ink.  I stamped it on a small piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock whose top was punched withthe Angled Tag Topper Punch.  After sponging the edges of the tag with Soft Suede Ink, I separated the corner , curled it and sponged it too. After punching a larger Lost Lagoon Cardstock piece with the Angled Tag Topper Punch, I ran it through the Big Shot  with the Argyle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This tag was tied with a combination of  3/8" Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon & the new sneak peek 3/8" Lost Lagoon Stitched Satin Ribbon.  The final touch was the addition of a Gold Sequin covering the hole of the smaller tag.

The inside of the card was stamped with the sentiment "You make the world a better place".  Seemed appropriate!

I am glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave this set a try.  Please let me jnow what you think by leaving me a comment.  I really appreciate all of your comments.

A Ginger Snap! A Graduation Bravo!

More Sneak Peeks today!  I am featuring a new photopolymer stamp set called Bravo and a new designer series paper called Maritime for the Graduation card I made today.

Way to Go rt
This card is for a young man whose school colors are red and blue.  Fortunately, the new Maritime Paper Pack had this perfect striped paper in it.  I used a square of it set at a jaunty angle to mat my Angle-Topper Tag.

The sentiment if from another sneak peek stamp set called Bravo.  After stamping it with both Real Red Night of Navy Ink, I banner cut the "To"  from the Night of Navy piece and popped it up with Dimensionals on the Real Red tag.

The little banners underneath the top of the tag were stamped in Real Red with the Perfect Pennants Stamp set.  After fussy cutting them, they were placed at an angle to highlight the sentiment.  Because a graduation is a life milestone, I felt a bit of gold was in order.  I cut a matching banner from Gold Foil & sprinkled a few Sequins  that were liberated from the Gold Sequin Trim.  Good news – it carried over to the new catalog.  A small Gols Star was punched from Gold Foil with the new star from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  I just couldn't resist that last gold star for my recipient!

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  I so appreciate your comments and I do read each and every one of them.  If you have any questions about my card, I am only an email away.

A Ginger Snap! Breathing & Shopping!

This is the last card from the three that I created with the In This Together stamp set.  And, I just couldn't resist some more paper from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack.  Love this pack!

Because I used the Blendabilities to color my image, I used Memento Black Ink to stamp the image.  Remember, alcohol markers need a water based ink like Memento while water based markers require an alcoho based ink like Staz On.  Otherwise your image will run when you color it.

MyHello Honey card base is standard size.  The small mat at the top of the card is another new In Color Blackberry Bliss.  Texture was added with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder which thankfully was carried over from Sale-a-Bration.

Behind the image are two rectangular  mat pieces that are a sneak peek from the new catalog. They are from the Moonlight paper pack that I mentioned above.  The flower is actually a trio of Blackberry Bliss flowers punched with the new Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

I went crazy adorning my card with Pearl basic Jewels.  All in all, I really enjpyed working with this stamp set and I can definitely reccommend it as a fun stamp set to use.

Because the product I used is mostly sneak peeks, I am not allowed to post pictures.
