A Ginger Snap! From the Limo to the Bike!

I have returned from Convention with lots of stories and pictures to share with you!  The first night we attended the Sip & Swap for the group that I am part of.  After it ended, we headed over to the Convention Center for the "Paper Pumpkin Nite Out" hosted by Stampin' Up!  In addition to creating a make-n-take for one of the upcoming kits & sampling treats, all 5 of us entered a drawing to win the Ultimate Convention Experience.  We laughed and joked and decided that our best chance of winning was with my daughter & downline Beth Klaumann.  She has been really lucky winning things lately so we put our faith in her!

Can you imagine our absolute delight and disbelief when the next day Shelli Gardner announced the winner and across the screen flashes Beth Klaumann!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was incredible!  As the winner, Beth was allowed to bring 6 friends to do the following.

1.  Take a limo to the home office tour in Riverton.

2. Tour the home office and warehouse.

4. Can you imagine sitting in the 2nd row behind the Gardner famiy!  We had reserved seats in that 2nd row behind Shelli Gardner's family for evry session held on Main Stage during the Convention.

The mass will flow in now that the doors are opened!

5. The package also included a backstage tour.  It was interesting to learn what goes on behind the scenes.  As we were touring, we bumped into Shelli who was just bringing her breakfast to the special room that they have before going on stage.  Of course, we had to have a picture.  I will post it as soon as it is mailed to us.  But, here is a picture of us on stage.

I am still in shock that Beth actually won.  They told us that there was a very large box filled with entries so it is truly amazing that her name was drawn.  Thank you beth for sharing this with us!  It truly was an Ultimate Convention Experience!

Beth & Nicole just couldn't resist hiring a "bike cab" to take Eletha & I across the street to our parked card.  That thought it was really funny to say from the limosuine to the bike!  And, it really was fun!

A Ginger Sap! Downline Gifts in a Fry Box!

One of the most fun parts of Convention is giving Downline gifts to my team.  I have a variety of  gifts to give but my favorite is the French Fry Box.  I used the Fry Bigz Die and various dsp to create them.

All of them

They are bright and colorful!  And, they contain some Convention essentials like gum, a few pieces of candy and some peanuts.  I used a few of the bags from the Paper Pumpkin Kit this month.

Beth Rich razzleberry

Each gal is getting a box done in her favorite color.  This one is Rich Razzleberry.

Eletha Melon Mambo

And this one is Melon Mambo.

Ginger Coastal Cabana

Who could resist Coastal Cabana?

Nicole Daffodil fdelight

A bright & cheerful Daffodil Delight.

Teresa Pum[kin Pie

And, a trendy Pumpkin Pie.

Which one is your favorite?  Please leave me a comment to let me know your favorite.

A Ginger Snap! A Sweet Stuff Birthday Card!

My Granddaughter turns 7 next week but I am giving her present to her because we are in Salt Lake now which means that we won't be returning next week for her actual birthday.  Katie is very artistic and loves receiving cards that are homemade.  I bought the set Sweet Stuff with Katie in mind.

Purple is her favorite color so I knew that I had to work it in to my design.  Thankfully Sweet Taffy had the perfect piece for my card.  A Whisper White card base makes an ideal backdrop for the paper from Sweet Taffy.  In addition to the "purple"  side, I also used a narrower strip of the reverse side for some contrast.

The images were stamped with Memento Black Ink.  Carefully, I used my Stampin' Write Markers to add color to them.  They were then punched out with different size circle punches.  The sentiment is flag cut on the right side while a little piece of Rich razzleberry cardstock draws attention to the left side of the banner.

A Daffodil Delight Blendabilitywas used to color the Rhinestones that you see on the candles & the cupcake.
