A Ginger Snap! PPA 213 Sketch Challenge!

It's time for another sketch challenge for the Pals paper Arts (PPA) provided by the talented Nicole Watt. Left

and the sketch…

The centerpiece of my card is the Daffodil Delight Bloom for You.  No fussy cutting here because the Fun Flower Punch works perfectly on my image.  I stamped and punched 3 blooms.  Staggering the flowers and curling the petals creates a nice 3-D look.  The center of my flower is adorned with an Old Olive Candy Dot which is adhered to a Candy Dot Brad Base.  The Old Olive leaves were created with the Bird Builder Punch.  They help to accent the Candy Dot Center.

The flower theme is enhanced by the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder which also provides some dimension and texture. The luscious pattern shown in the paper squares is courtesy of the Back to Black Designer Series paper.  I love the color combo of black and yellow.  Three Daffodil Delight Candy Dots in the right-hand corner add the finishing touch.

And, the inside of the card uses a strip of the same paper as the outside of the card.

The sentiment is from the set Fabulous Four.

The Perks

  • Paper Pumpkin Hostess Benefits: You can add prepaid subscriptions to workshop orders, which means the hostess can earn benefits on Paper Pumpkin!
  • Higher Commissions: You get commissions on the full price of the prepaid subscriptions even though the shipping costs are calculated into the price.
  • Uninterrupted Subscriptions: When your customers redeem their subscription on www.mypaperpumpkin.com, they can put in their payment information at checkout to keep receiving their monthly kit once their prepaid subscription ends (although they aren't required to give their payment information).

How It Works

  1. When your customer places their order, they'll receive an e-mail with instructions on how to redeem the prepaid subscription.
  2. They'll go to www.mypaperpumpkin.com and enter the redemption code.
  3. They'll start enjoying their monthly Paper Pumpkin project kit the very next month!

The Fine Print

  • Prepaid subscriptions can be made on all order types: demonstrator, workshop, customer, or online.
  • Each Paper Pumpkin account can only use one redemption code at a time. For example, if someone buys two six-month prepaid subscriptions, they'll enter the first code and then after six months can enter the second code.
  • When calculating a customer's order, which includes a prepaid subscription, remember that shipping is included-so you won't have to figure shipping for that item; however, you will need to include tax (use the hostess's tax rate).
  • While not intended to be a gift subscription program, you or your customers can buy a prepaid subscription and give it as a gift. You'd just purchase the prepaid subscription and when you receive the redemption code, share it with the recipient of your choice who can redeem the subscription at www.mypaperpumpkin.com.
  • Redemption codes will become invalid if not used within three years of the purchase date (two years for residents of California).
  • Take a look at the Paper Pumpkin FAQ for more information on prepaid subscriptions.

It's a great time to take advantage of these prepaid subscriptions that can be bought as gifts. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

A Ginger Snap! Gift Card Enclosure Box With Cards!

One of the Make-N-Takes at the 2014 Stampin' Up! Convention used a Gift Card Enclosure to create a box that would hold 3 adorable birthday notecards with envelopes.

Make-n-take box & cards

The box was created by scoring 3 of the 4 sides 1/2" from the previous score line.  Fold on the score lines and use a small piece of Sticky Strip to secure the box.

Stamps from the Amazing Birthday were inked in various 2014-2016 In Colors and stamped on Whisper White and Lost Lagoon cardstock.  The images were fussy cut and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Tangerine Tango/Whisper White bellyband is from the Flowerpot dsp.  And, the star was cut with the Star Framelit from Gold Glimmer Paper.  A piece of Baker's twine is wrapped around the bellyband twice and tied in a little bow.

The cards are super simple.  Using the stamp from Amazing Birthday, Ink it with either Lost Lagoon or Pool Party ink.  Stamp in the center of a Whisper White Notecard.  I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig so I would have a straight image.

Cut a small strip of Crumb Cake Cardstock and banner cut the ends.  Adhere it over the word "amazing".   Then stamp "amazing"  with Tangelo Twist ink on Whisper White cardstock. Cut it out and pop it up on the Crumb Cake strip.  Punch a star from some of the leftover Glimmer Paper with the star from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch. Pop this up on the right edge of the Crumb Cake strip.

Although these are super simple cards, they are cute!  And, 3 cards with envelopes fit in the box.  Perfect for a small gift!
