The Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog has some really fun stamp sets that will amke creating for Halloween fun & easy. Such is the case with the sneak peek card that I have for you today.

I must confess – I just couldn't resist this clever card. It is shown in the catalog on page 47. Use an aqua painter with Bermuda Bay Ink to create the illusion of sky on the top of the card. A Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker & a ruler is all you need to create the criss crossing lines.

The clothes were stamped with Tangerine Tango & Crushed Curry Ink while the critters, the witches' hat & the sentiment were stamped with Black Staz On Ink. Of course, the clothespins were all done in Black Staz On too.

Clean & simple – that is what my card today is about.

Pictogram Punches is a stamp set that I initially overlooked in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. But, when I spotted this sentiment, I knew that it was a set that I needed. Just think of all of the occassions where this is just what you want to say.

Gold Embossing Powder that has been heat set produces a shine to match the new Gold Glimmer Paper & the Gold Metallic Baker's Twine. After rubbing the Embossing Buddy across my Notecard, I stamped the image with Versamark Ink & sprinkled Gold Embossing Powder over the top of the ink. Holding the Heat Tool over this produces the shine that makes it a star.
The Star Punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Pack was used with Gold Glimmer paper to produce a few of the stars on my card. With all of that bling, the envelope needs some star treatment too. The flap of the envelope is covered with Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum. All-in-all, a simple card that is ramped up with bling!

The sentiment "just because" from the stamp set A Dozen Thoughts has been one of my all time favorite sentiments. I was giddy with excitement when I realized that it would be perfect for my card today.

Combining Pool Party & Early Espresso with the stamp set Borderong Blooms created the ideal card for my sentiment. My card is wonderfully simple – so easy to recreate and yet it sends exactly the message that I want.

A bit of Pool Party Designer Series Paper from the Subtles Stack gives my envelope some special attention too. And, it adds to the simple but fun vibe that I want for my card.
The basic design of this card is a case from page 163 of the Annual Catalog. I made a few adjustments to suit my taste. One of those is the addition of Pearls to the center of each flower. When you need lots of cards quickly, this is the design for you! So easy and yet so sweet.
