A Ginger Snap! A Tisket A Tasket, A Green & Yellow basket!

Yesterday I mentioned that 3 of the Pretty Pals – the name of my Uplines group, earned Founder's Circle.  This is an exciting accomplishment becuase it is a very select group of all of the Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.  My card today is for my friend and fellow Pal – Ann Schach. Congrats Ann!

The Stipled Blossom creates a vintage looking flower for my basket.  It is a two-step stamp so I was able to pair a light color with a darker color.  I chose Crisp Cantaloupe with Calypso Coral So Saffron with Hello Honey.  The leaves were stamped with Wild Wasabi Garden Green.

I did a lot of fussy cutting!  Each flower and leaf is snipped out & popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Ann adores Pearls so I showered her card with them.

In order to create the basket, I stamped the Hardwood stamp with Chocolate Chip Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock.  After cutting strips of the hardwood, I wove them to create the basket.  An Oval Thinlet was used to cut the basket out.  To keep the basket together, I put Glue Dots on the edge pieces.

Fringe Scissors and Garden Green cardstock give the illusion of grass.  A few flowers are tucked in the grass layers.

A Ginger Snap! Bravo!

First let me apologize for my abscence.  I had a migraine yesterday so although I did have a card to post, I wasn't up to writing the post.  But, thankfully I am fine today and I am anxious to share my card with you.

This card is on its way to my Upline, Mary Fish who will be heading to Founder's Circle this week.  Founder's Circle is a prestigous gathering of the top 100 or so Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

My card uses the Bravo Stamp Set.  With so many stamps and so many fonts, you are sure to find a stamp that will work for you from this set!  The sentiment is stamped with Memento Black Ink on a piece of patterned Designer Series Paper found in the All Abloom dsp stack.  The largest shape from the Apothecary Framelits was used to cut it out.

Both the Basic Black cardbase  & the strip of Old Olive cardstock are embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. In addition, some interest was added with a strip of dsp from the Back to Black dsp

A trio of stars punched from Old Olive Cardstock with the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack adds the final touch.  Of course, a bit of bling adorns the stars in the form of a Basic Rhinestone Jewel.  As you can see from the picture, the card has a Whisper White liner with a punched star in Daffodil Delight to unite the front & the inside of my card.

A Ginger Snap! Sorry You’re Sick!

I needed a quick get well card today so I cased a card from Stampin' Up! but changed it up to suit my needs.

This is the first card that I used Dotty Angles on and  I am quite happy with my purchase.  It fills in lots of space on my card and highlights my sentiment.

The banners were punched from Sweet Taffy dsp Silver Glimmer paper.  The end  banner was created by stamping Dotty Angles with Melon Mambo Ink on Whisper White cardstock. A little bow was tied from Old Olive Baker's twine & glued to the last banner.

In addition, the left corners of the sentiment piece were rounded with the Project Life Corner Rounder.

And, I am happy to report that my card was mailed yesterday!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
