Yesterday I mentioned that 3 of the Pretty Pals – the name of my Uplines group, earned Founder's Circle. This is an exciting accomplishment becuase it is a very select group of all of the Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. My card today is for my friend and fellow Pal – Ann Schach. Congrats Ann!
The Stipled Blossom creates a vintage looking flower for my basket. It is a two-step stamp so I was able to pair a light color with a darker color. I chose Crisp Cantaloupe with Calypso Coral & So Saffron with Hello Honey. The leaves were stamped with Wild Wasabi & Garden Green.
I did a lot of fussy cutting! Each flower and leaf is snipped out & popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. Ann adores Pearls so I showered her card with them.
In order to create the basket, I stamped the Hardwood stamp with Chocolate Chip Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. After cutting strips of the hardwood, I wove them to create the basket. An Oval Thinlet was used to cut the basket out. To keep the basket together, I put Glue Dots on the edge pieces.
Fringe Scissors and Garden Green cardstock give the illusion of grass. A few flowers are tucked in the grass layers.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
Totally over the top gorgeous and perfect for Ann!
Beautiful card! She will love it! Your flower color combinations are perfect – they look real!
Thank you so much, Ginger! When this card arrived in the mail yesterday, I could not believe how beautiful it was…it is absolutely stunning! Your sweet comments inside brought tears to my eyes. Big hugs to you, my friend…
Ginger – This is a gorgeous card! The work and thought that went into the card will delight Ann as you saw above my comment. Great job!
My goodness, this is truly stunning. What were you doing while I slept? This is truly a work of art. I am so over whelmed I don’t know what to say.
Ginger, this card is amazing! You did a ton of work but the result is well worth it. This is definitely a WOW!
Oh Ginger, this is perfect for Ann – she will love it! I love the flowers and that basket is so clever! I love the choice of the background paper rather than a sky blue. Great job! Oh, Ann has already received it! So, glad to read her comment too!
