I needed a quick get well card today so I cased a card from Stampin' Up! but changed it up to suit my needs.
This is the first card that I used Dotty Angles on and I am quite happy with my purchase. It fills in lots of space on my card and highlights my sentiment.
The banners were punched from Sweet Taffy dsp & Silver Glimmer paper. The end banner was created by stamping Dotty Angles with Melon Mambo Ink on Whisper White cardstock. A little bow was tied from Old Olive Baker's twine & glued to the last banner.
In addition, the left corners of the sentiment piece were rounded with the Project Life Corner Rounder.
And, I am happy to report that my card was mailed yesterday!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Hugs,
Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
Love the card in pink and the rounded corners! It is a cheery get well card!
This card should cheer up the recipient. Another stamp I need to get.
How ironic – I needed a get well card yesterday for a coworker who had an emergency appendectomy. I don’t really have any get well cards in my stash. So, you bet I will think about this set. I ended up with a cool card with flowers that said hello on the front and inside wrote the message about speedy recovery. I think that dotty angles stamp would come in handy for those awkward empty spaces. The Fabulous Four needs to be at my house! This sealed it. Love the rich and colorful card
