I saw this card on Pinterest and understand that it was a copy of a card on display at the Japan Stampin' Up! Home Office. I fell in love with it and knew that I wanted to try and create it.
Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper is what makes this card special in my mind. The paper is just so bright & vibrant that it shouts joy.
Would you believe that the presents are actually cut from one of the patterns in the Designer Series Paper? Cutting them is pretty easy because they are a basic shape. Look closely behind the presents and you will see some background stamping accomplished with a stamp from Christmas Pines inked with Delightful Dijon Ink.
The banner is created with Mint Macaron C.S. & the Banner Triple Punch. A piece of Presents & Pinecones Washi Tape adds a touch of color to the top of the art piece. A simple Whisper White Baker's twine bow is attached with a Glue Dot.
The sentiment from Christmas Pines is stamped in both Emerald Envy Ink & Cherry Cobbler Ink. Fussy cut "sparkle" & pop it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
Oh my….this is adorable!
I can see why you fell in love with the card. Love the colors!
I agree, this is a vibrant card. I wondered where the gifts came from. Thanks for your detailed instructions. I will be on the hunt for goods to make this card soon!
Love this card! This would be a card I’d try too! Thanks for the details because this card supplies will be my Oct. order amount other things! Love this card!
Well, isn’t this just fun! You can change it up easily – since it says sparkle – add some rhinestones to the dijon dots and little stars. But, I probably wouldn’t change anything else since it is a fun and festive card. The presents match the diagonal DSP! I am going to have to pull that paper out of my shares and check it out. This would be fun to recreate. Who knew the Japanese even celebrated CHristmas! Oh, maybe some wink of stella stuff on the word sparkle? It would be easily mailed too which is always good in my book! I sure don’t find things on Pinterest like others do!
