Halloween is right around the corner & the stamp set Spooky Fun paired with the Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies makes it possible to create a nice variety of Halloween cards.
The star of my card is the spooky tree created with the Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies & Basic Gray Cardstock. The tree is so easy to cut out when used with the Precision Base Plate & the new Big Shot Platform. After cutting the tree, the Die Brush makes it easy to remove from the card stock.
The tombstones & the ghosts from Spooky Fun are stamped with Basic Gray Archival Ink. The card stock used for the tombstones is Sahara Sand. The bats are stamped with Memento Black Ink.
A length of Halloween Night Basic Black/Basic Gray Baker's Twine is wrapped around my card and tied in a bow. The sentiment from the stamp set Spooky Fun is stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink on Whisper White Cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! If you have time, I would love to have you leave a comment for me telling me if there is a product from the Holiday Catalog that you would like to see me feature.
Hugs,
Ginger
Stampin' Supplies Used:
Cute card! Simple but fun! Looked at all the cutting out you did!
It is the season for fun cards and this qualifies. I like the little ghosts hanging around to scare people, all in fun.
Too cute to spook! I am in love with that tree! I have seen a few projects that have used this edgelit and it looks so cool! Plus that fence is pretty neat looking. Those little tomb stones look pretty detailed glad there is no name on them! The new twines are perfect for the Halloween but I wonder if the black and gray one could be used for other occasions – I like the look of those two together. I saw the ghosts made using the paisley thinlits die and stamping the mouth and eyes from that stamp set and they looked spooktacular! So glad your ghosts don’t look too scary the bats do enough on their own. Thank goodness we don’t have any inside the house this year.
