Totally Trees is a fun new stamp set in the Stampin' Up! 2016 Holiday Catalog. It has an edgy modern feel that I just couldn't resist.
It seems that lately I have been putting a lot of my card stock at angles & so it continues with this card. My card base is Early Espresso Cardstock which is layered with Delightful Dijon Cardstock & finally the Very Vanilla stamped layer.
Using a stamp from the Totally Trees Stamp Set, I inked it in Cajun Craze, followed by Delightful Dijon & finally Bermuda Bay Ink. Each time I stamped off prior to stamping on the Very Vanilla layer. The splotches of color are topped with the tree stamp from the Totally trees Set which has been inked in Cajun Craze Ink.
A strip of copper dotted Washi Tape from Affectionately Yours Designer wash Tape is laid above 2 of the trees & across from the top tree. Popped on top of the Washi Tape is a Bermuda Bay Banner that is embossed with Copper Embossing Powder. The sentiment is from Confetti celebration.
Finally a length of Linen Thread is wrapped around the middle of my card & tied in a bow.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Remember that if you have any questions about my card, I am only an email away & I truly enjoy chatting with my blog readers.
Hugs,
Ginger
Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:
Love! I adore how you positioned the panels on this super-sweet card.
So cute and such a fun set……I just ordered it! 🙂
Amazing piece of modern art in a card! You do have an artistic touch!
Fun and I see they used the same colors. I still don’t quite understand why they have blue trees. SU’s fall papers used to have blue in them and I never understood it. Just me and my thinking. Whatever works. I love the tree shapes they sort of remind me of a Charlie Harper tree, which I love his stuff! I love how rich the copper looks with the Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, and Delightful Dijon both in the tape and the embossing powder. Love the little tilt to the panels which always adds to the interest I think. Now, if I could get over the Bermuda Bay for a tree color I would be all set! LOL
Oh My! This little things called trees do make me smile. They definitely are an artistic endeavor and they are as cute as can be in that category. Nice to change it up a bit.
