After creating my card for yesterday, I couldn't resist trying a few more faux frame cards with different stamp sets. Today it is the Artistically Asian Stamp Set.
The images in this stamp set are so peaceful & serene that I thought they would work wonderfully with the Faux Frame Technique. The emphasis is on the image – exactly what I was going for.
My color combo is Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizazz & Whisper White with Basic Black as an accent. A clean & fresh palette is ideal for this set. A bit of Metallic Black Thread looped around the stems adds some texture to my card.
If you missed my post yesterday check it out here and you will find the directions for my Faux Frame cards. Just switch the card stock color and you will be good to go!

I like this card. The faux frame helps to bring out the image. I do agree it is a fresh clean card. The Black thread adds just enough to the image. I like this set and I am sure to be gettinges them especially since seeing what you have done with them.
I agree with Barb! You are an artist!!
Exquisite! Awesome card! I really hadn’t looked at this set then you made a few totally awesome cards & of course I now need this set!
Loving that faux frame technique it brings the focal point full circle, well rectangle in this case! The black mat just enforces the clean lines and fresh look. The Peekaboo Peach looks wonderful on this along with the Pear Pizazz. I do not think of Asian art being bright and bold so these are perfect and almost have a water color quality to them. Great job as always!
