It's time for another PPA Sketch Challenge and this week fellow Pal & creative paper crafter Lisa Ann Barnard has created a fun challenge. Check it out.
I took some creative liberties and chose to rotate the sketch 180 degrees. After my rotation, the circle ended up on the top right of the sketch and I chose to use my cutout flower for that element of the sketch. It was created from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock using the Flourish Thinlits Dies. In addition, I used the Flourish Thinlits Dies to cut the large flourish from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.
Although my card base is Whisper White card stock, I added color by using several patterns from the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper Pack mounted on Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. I love the look of Sweet Sugarplum & Rich Razzleberry!
The small sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set which is bundled with those fabulous Flourish Thinlits Dies. It is stamped with Rich Razzleberry Ink and the end is banner cut. It is placed at an angle in order to mimic the angle created with the piece with the large flourish.
The final touch is a piece of 3/8" Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon whiz is knotted & attached to the stem of my flourish with a Glue Dot.

STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
Very rich looking with the Rich Razzleberry and the Sweet Sugarplum! Love it! Such a fun playful card with it’s little jaunty tilt! A very fun take on the sketch with that floral piece being the circle. I am learning so much from how people interpret these sketches. I swear I will get brave and try one sometime. Loving that flourish stuff! As Tony Tiger would say, “It’s Great!” Off to check the other challenge ideas….
Love this card! Love the color and the intricate designs as well as the ribbon. It is a fun dainty card that needs to be shown off!
I am not sure what I think, it is a bit busy for me. I do like your confidence to try all style of cards. I am not there yet. Our sister definitely likes it.
I love the colors, love your take on the design! I’d take one look at the design & run for the hills, because I could never do what you do by switching up the design! You amaze me with your interpretation. Awesome card!
So elegant with the beautiful shades of pinky purply maives…….
Amazing how you managed to balance all the patterns into a gorgeous and cohesive design!
A stunning card, Ginger! I LOVE these colors you used…and the coordinating papers. Wow!
