It won't be long and fresh peaches will fill the air with their special aroma! In the meantime, I am settling for them appearing on my card.
Ginger's Tips:
- Whisper White C.S 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
- Pear Pizazz C.S. 4" x 5-1/4" embossed with the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
- 1-1/8" x 3-1/2" Strips of Peekaboo Peach embossed with the Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
- 1-1/8" x 3-1/2" Strip of Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper
- Cut 3/8" wide banners of varying length from Peekaboo Peach & Pear Pizazz C.S. Adhere to the card but pop up the top banner with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp the peach with Peekaboo Peach Ink on Whisper White C.S. & cut it out with Paper Snips. Pop it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Tie a small bow with Whisper White Baker's Twine & use Glue Dots to adhere it to the stem of the peach.
- Place 3 In Color Enamel Shapes on the Peekaboo Peach Banner.
I am anxious to use the Fresh Fruit stamp set and the gorgeous Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper again. It is a fun combo with so many of the new 3/8" Ruched Ribbon to match.

Stampin' Up! Supp;ies Used:
I like the layout of this card. The embossing folder is a must have, it is very versatile. The peach looks good enough to eat
And the colors go together nicely. I like how you do the two banners, the enamel shapes look great on them. Good work Ginger, thanks for posting it.
Just peachy! I am ready for some peaches too. Mike bought a couple and they were ok, a little hard and not real juicy or sweet. But, your card is sweet! I love the DP panels and the embossing folders you used. That seaside one is really cool – I don’t think I have seen it. Of course I love the banners with the enamel dots on there. Ah, the cute little bow on the peach stem and cute leaves is fun. I wish SU would have made the peach stamp a little less round as it looks like a tennis ball. I saw one on somebody else’s card and the way they colored it and shaded it, I think they were trying for peach fuzz but it turned out more like a fuzzy tennis ball. I will have to look at the fruit at the store to see if that “line” part is darker. I think nectarines have it darker but not sure. Whatever. Maybe that stamp is to double as an apple too? I can almost picture eating a peach and having the juice dribble down my chin and hands! Talk about heaven!
The consensus between the two sisters is “just peachy”! You have an eye for color! From the two sisters ~ Margie & Rosemary
You always make me smile Chris! These colors were difficult to photograph. Yhey are actually pretty bright but look more dull in the pic. I sure agree with you about the peach looking more like a tennis ball! The dap is really nice from this pack. I just have 6 x 12 left from my shares so I will probably buy a full pack. It is luscious! Your idea to use it as an apple has potential. I will have to look into that possibility!
Just finished my PPA card for next week. Trying to get all of those must dos done before the end of the week. Tomorrow is a crazy day. I have an MRI of my back in the a.m then a doctor appt at 12:45 with the lung doctor. Seems that Medicare wants me to do a new sleep study because of the oxygen/sleep apnea combo. Of course the doc cant just order the test because it has to be in his notes even though Medicare are the ones requiring it. Im not do to see this guy until Sept. Oh, I have CTMH tomorrow night too.
Trying to get things together for the trip and I should start a list….. My daughter just sent me the weather forecast for LA next week. We arrive on Monday and the forecast is 102 degrees. WHAT!!!!!! It has been in the 70s all this week. It is cold here – 50s today and wind. Feels cold too. As you can imagine, I am not looking forward to this transition. I dont like heat!
Now I am done bellyaching! Hope all is well with you. Mike Ted. Take care and have a restful night.
Hugs
