Some of you requested directions for the Valentine Box that I posted on Friday. And, because I love my peeps, I am posting directions and a sketch. If you would like to see the original post click Valentine Box
- Start with a 5-1/2" x 11" piece of card stock.
- With the 5-1/2" side at the top of the trimmer, score at 1-1/2". Flip the card stock over and score again at 1-1/2".
- With the 11" side of the card stock at the top of the trimmer, score at 4-3/4". Slide the card stock to 4-3/8" and score as shown in the diagram. Flip the card stock over and score at 4-3/4". Slide the card stock to 4-3/8" and score again as shown in the diagram.
- Cut along the score lines as shown in the diagram.
The vertical lines are 1-1/2". The cut version looks like the sketch below.
I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch for the top of the box. Use a strong adhesive such as Tear & Tape or Mono Liquid Adhesive to put your box together.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Remember that if you have questions, I am only an email away.
Hugs,
Ginger
Thank you! Hope you are having fun this weekend!
Great – I would have been goofing it up big time trying to get working measurements! Looks doable now! Hope you are getting lots of scraping done and having a good time!
