My 5-year old Grandson likes to receive cards in the mail but he does not want anything mushy – typical boy! But that doesn't mean that English Garden Designer Series Paper isn't the perfect choice for him. Check out the decidedly masculine paper that I used on his card.
The Crumb Cake Notecards are just the right size for my card for Cole. And, they remind me of dirt which is another plus for a little boy.
A small banner created with the Banner Triple Punch is the perfect place for my sentiment from Happy Happenings. It is stamped with the luscious Mint Macaron Ink – a new In Color.
The banner is attached to the card with a strip of Everyday Chic Designer Washi Tape. The silver stars from the Metallics Sequin Assortment add the final touch.
A cute card for a cute boy!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
The print reminds me of muddy foot prints! Actually, I think it is pretty nifty smudges of color. This is perfect for grandson as he can use his imagination to decide what they are! So, this rates up there as a fun card!
Yesterday I made 6 cards and a holder and I used Washi tape too. They turned out pretty cute. I used the arrow punch and stamped the little house from the Sal-a-bration set. I used some newspaper looking DP pieces too. Then “Did you hear the news?” I’m moving on the inside with the spiral note book looking little stickers from the one kit from last year. Pam can write her new address on the lined stickers for those who have trouble reading on the crumb cake paper I used.
Won’t the Grandson love this card! It is not mushy but made by Grandma!
Cole will like getting a card from Grandma. I would like to know his take on the card. Muddy roads to roar on. Maybe!
Love the card! I thought it looked like painted rocks
