Playing with the Bouquet Bigz Die is definitely addicting! Today I am sharing a project that we are making at my Club Workshop this week.
I was having so much fun that I created 3 samples in different color combos.
The flowers may look like they take a lot of time but they are easy peasy. As suggested in the video, I used 10 larger petals and 8 smaller petals with 10 – 12 centers for each flower.
I cut centers each time I cut a stack of petals. Because you can cut 5 pieces of dsp at a time with the Big Shot each flower required only 4 cuts with the Big Shot – 2 for each petal.
Check out the video from Stampin' Up! to see exactly how the flower goes together.
And, the die has more flower options than the one I chose. It certainly would be possible to make a gorgeous bouquet or a fabulous wreath in addition to decorating the gift bags.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
Gorgeous flowers! I love your use of DSP!
These are fun! As a kiddo I used to cut out a shape similar by hand and make a similar type of flower – it would take all day to make one flower! Just think if I would have had the Big Shot, die, glue gun and silicone sheet – I could have made a gazillion of these! At least my mom knew how to keep me busy. They used to make little pads of paper when I was kid that had four colors maybe and the paper was thin so I ripped a lot. But, it was fun for me. Of course then there was crepe paper too.
Love your color choices and they sure spiffy up a boring white gift bag. Well done!
What a beautiful gift bag. I like the flowers. The centers looking interesting, they stand out well. Nice work.
I love the bags! Of course the pink flower is my favorite! Go figure for a pink gal!
Love the flowers and it makes the white bag a real stand out! My favorite is the blue flower. Thanks for sharing love all the colors but the blue stands out for me.
