It's time for some more fun with the Pals Paper Arts. The colors this time are definitely for a spring palette.
I love all of these colors but I have to admit that I struggled using them all together. Then I decided to make my own background paper. And, I am pleased with the result. What do you think?
Using the colors of the challenge, I inked each with a Sponge Dauber and stamped on a piece of angle cut Whisper White card stock.
Sticking with the dots theme, I embossed a piece of Soft Sky card stock, also cut at a slight angle, with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.
These 2 layers are then put on the Pink Pirouette card base that is embossed with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
Pistachio Pudding makes an appearance with a sweet butterfly stamped with Pistachio Pudding Ink on Pistachio Pudding Cardstock which is cut out with a Butterfly Framelit.
The butterfly is placed on a strip of Pistachio Pudding Cardstock that is heat embossed with a sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts.
A few Pearl Basic Jewels add just the right touch to my butterfly!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger

So soft and pretty! Well done!
I love the paper you created! Beautiful!
Looking at your created background made me feel like spring had sprung! It is uplifting to say the least. I also like the butterfly, sure sign of spring!I like how cutting the pieces on an angle makes the card look. Good job!
I love this card! It has all my colors and a buterfly! You are so creative!
Really pretty, Ginger, so soft & sweet! I love the background paper!
Your card made me think of spring! You are so creative to do your own paper with the color circles. I loved everything about this card ~ Awesome job!
Now this is just plain fun! Love that the circles actually come out that way with the dauber! Loving that tilt and then the other two pieces embossed. So soft, sweet and pretty. That would make a great birthday card or lots of other occasions. Love the added touch of the pearls as well. Well done! Yep, it screams “Spring” in a quietly stated way! Wouldn’t that bunny doing the happy dance look cute with this paper you created?
Absolutely gorgeous, Ginger! I LOVE the paper you created! It’s a perfect use of the challenge colors.
This is a beauty, Ginger! It’s such a soft look and I love how you carried the embossing folder into the design with the circles!
I love polka dots, I love the soft colored paper, I love the slight angle you used in creating this card, I simply love your card! Thank you for inspiring me.
I’m just “dotty” over your design! I love the angles and the custom DSP. What a great way to tackle this challenge.
