I have been enjoying my flowers and although I know that their days are numbered, I was not prepared to hear a forecast of snow for Thursday! Yikes – are they serious? But, it did give me insportion for my card today.
- Frosted branches seemed like the prefect setting for my frosted sentiment. After rubbing my card front with my Embossing Buddy, I inked the branch from Ornamental Pines with Versa Mark ink and stamped.
- My sentiment from Seasonally Scattered demands center stage. So, I inked it with Versa Mark Ink too & stamped.
- Snow – snow -snow , means White Embossing Powder had to be sprinkled over my card front.
- Heat Embossing with the Heat Tool provides the magic! The snow comes to life.
I am featuring snow, snow, snow so no embellishments here! However, the inside of my card deserves some attention.
The strip of dsp at the bottom is from the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack. A few pinecones from the Ornamental Pine were stamped and fussy cut before I adhered them to my card.
Finally, the sentiment from Ornamental Pine was stamped with Cherry Cobbler Ink.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger

I love this stamp! The card is beautiful! Love the colors and the white ink. Great job!
Nice and different use of that stamp set. I like what you did.
Hey Ginger, did you know that SNOW spelled backwards is WONS? Well, this card is definitely a winner! I would have never thought to put the two sets together! I love it! That fussy cut pine cone is really cool! The white on red is really dramatic! This is embossing at it’s best! I love that Seasonally Scattered set! I want to make it using the dazzling diamonds or an iridescent embossing powder and was thinking of putt it on a navy background but the red is just so festive! Love the inside – you could line the inside of the envelope with the same green striped paper to tie it in even more~ Stupendous job my friend!
Very pretty! A nice KISS card but oh so elegant.
