It's time for another color challenge from the Pals paper Arts.
The colors for the challenge today are, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight & Whisoer White.
- The Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder provides an eye catching background for my card. In order to add some visual interest and to also ground my card, I chose to use a strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock that was also embossed with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
- A Whisper White Banner & an Old Olive Banner highlight the line between the 2 cardstock pieces. In addition, a length of Old Olive Baker's Twine tied in a bow adds a sweet accent.
- The sentiment from Oh My Goodies is inked in both Daffodil Delight & Night of Navy. The "umpteenth" is cut out and popped up on the daffodil delight sentiment which was cut out with a Deco Collection Framelit.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
I like this card! I love the colors and the stamp. Darn Ging I was not interested in this set until now!!
I’m with Margie, I will have to take another look at this stamp set. The colors go well together, I love the bigger dots background The touch of Old Olive, sure adds to the card.
Ditto the above remarks for me too! Love the blue & yellow together & the stamp used. I can see many uses for the stamp set for different people. I got the big dot embossing folder! I think you’re enabling me! Love the card!
I had been looking at that set but had not noticed that particular stamp – how funny! I was more focused on the other 3 stamps! The embossed dots are terrific on here lined up so perfectly and proud! I, too, love the green with this as a perfect touch. I guess that was why I like the Midnight Muse, Daffodil Delight and Gumball Green together! The little sweet bow of the Old Olive is just the icing on the cake, birthday cake that is! I really like this card and I think I need this set plus this EF! This would be a great card for man or woman actually now that I look at it even more! Great job as always and I will be CASING this for sure!
Beautifully done, Ginger! I love that Polka Dot embossing folder and how you used it for both colors. I guess I’ll have to buy it!
Awesome, Ginger! The touch of olive is the perfect accent! I LOVE the texture!
